Arrrr...A Pirate's Life For Us!!!! Fun in Pirate Treasure Room: Now with pics!

There I was, Captain Mea, in the pirate treasure room with Empare: saying piratey things like "arrr ye mateys, clear the bilge water and walk ye plank, let's set sail on the high seas for adventure and plunder!" (I never knew the vmk dictionary had so many piratey words). Anway, Starmine and TeenTitanGirl and some others came to join our 'game', of finding plunder and singing pirate songs!

So, kids...and childlike adults....if you ever get bored and dont feel like working on your quest like you are supposed to, just go the left of the pirate game lobby and have some pirate-y fun! (and make others wonder what in the world you are doing).

Some highlights:

-a girl asked where I got my Jack Sparrow suit. Me: arrr! Ye ask, I be telling: Me be stealing me stuff like any pirate, arg!"
"no really where did you get it?"
"arrrr, ye pirate store! (ok really the pirate game but it's hard to get now)"

her: "fine pretend it's rare when it's not and don't tell me fine" (leaves)

-My navigator (Starmine) and the rest of me hearties a plunderin', and I gave them each a pirate gold pin! ARrrrr! Each player gets his/her share of yon plunder! (yon?)

-random girl (edit: it was BroadwayRockette I think) sitting behind the boat saying a cannon blew off her face, and then made her face brown! ARrrr!!!! We be firin' right back at 'em!

-Navigator Starmine found ye map! Ye map helped us all to find even more pretend pirate plunder! Arrr! (you can say "arrr" with three r's in vmk...but only with THREE R's!)

-Celebratin' our latest plunder of Monkey Island by dancin' and singing' yoho yoho on our ship, when we be attacked by Davy Jones' men! Arrrr!

-a girl coming in (apparently followed her friend thru friend list) and saying "wow where did you get this room?!" Empare says "Arrr! From the secret pirate quest, matey!"
girl: "it's so cool!"
Me: "(arrr, it not be ye guest room, it be ye secret vmk area!)"

OK, OK, it was a lot like kids playing pretend, well...ok, it WAS kids playing pretend (old kids included) but it was a lot of fun! Have you experienced new ways to make vmk fun today?

OMG. This was so much fun. I had to stop myself from talking pirate talk in real life. I wish we had a screen shot to show you. I was having to much fun to take a picture. Arrr! says I. ARRRR!

Sorry, how could I forget about you? LOL I added your name to the top post. good silly times! I'm thinking of making a quest where everyone has to go there and I'll have all the tasks be to find gold mickeys that I hide where you can't see them. And maybe some tasks where you have to say things like "ahoy" or "avast", and we can play the game all over again but with a real quest involved! ARRR now that I have another (discount) quest kiosk, why not? Now I have TWO quests to make: Robin Hood and Arrr: A pirate's life for us!

Aye, that be where it is. I found it the first time when following dis friends there for closing and thought it was a guest room (until I saw the size of the people!) Since I never play pirates except for vmk quests, I never knew it was there. It's my favorite vmk room, fer sure!
