We will be going to WDW in March 2016. I know we have a ways to go yet. But! I'm trying to figure a few things out. We are going to e driving down this time. We are going because our daughter's dance company is going to be performing there. Anyways. Our package doesn't start untill Wednesday of that week. We have 5 day tickets. We are trying to decide if we want to get a hotel offsite for the night and spend Tuesday at a park or stick around a few hours on Sunday before heading home. My choice is to spend Tuesday in a park because I think we would get more time there as if we stayed Sunday for a little. I believe you can start using park tickets 3 days before your package starts correct? Do you still get free parking before your package starts? I'm sure I'll have other questions in the future. 1. Yes. But, you need to go to any Guest Relations outside a park and activate the tickets before you can use them. This is true even if you are using a MagicBand.

If so, are those that stay as part of the special packages offered to dance and sports teams still able to pick up their tickets 3 days early?

If we would decide to stick around most of the day on Sunday to go to a park. Would we get free parking on Sunday since it's the last day of the package?

Free parking as part of your resort reservation is from day of check in to day of check out. So, if Sunday is your check out day, then you would have free parking that day.
