So we have Magic bands, but as I understand it we can also use the My Disney app to unlock our rooms. Is this correct? I shampoo and soap still provided? Any other last minute tips? Thanks!

That is correct. If you check in online you should receive a text when the room is ready but you can also keep checking the app as we find the texts aren’t always working. Once ready it will show your room number. The shampoo, conditioner and soaps are in the shower. Have fun!
