We will be arriving at WDW around 10am on Dec. 25th, my "plans" (I use that word very loosely at this time of yr.) is to stop by our resort, drop off luggage and head to Epcot.

Do I use a resort bus or drive to Epcot?

Can I get enough in from 12-7pm? We are only planning on going through Futureworld.
Then attempt to head into MK from 8pm-Midnight. I know it'll be crowded but Disney on Xmas w/our 4 yr old and my parents - that's a perfect holiday no matter how many people are there!

We'll be at WDW for 4 days so I do have some flexibility with time/parks. We have PS for breakfast, lunch, dinner - different days/parks. So other than that we are not nailed down to anything in particular.

I can hardly wait!!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Are you staying on site? That would decide whether you take the bus/boat or drive.

If you are staying onsite you are guaranteed admission to a park but be prepared for a huge crowd.

The MK might be closed by 8pm. I believe there's even a stage when resort guests can no longer be admitted.

I know we are up against a large crowd and now we're thinking of just staying in EPCOT for the entire day. I was just concerned about making EPCOT our 1st visit with a 4 yr old who'll be bouncing with excitement!

We are staying on-site which at the very least is reassuring NOT to have to drive into EPCOT - bus wait may be long but then again I am celebrating XMas w/ Mickey!

thanks for the imput - helps to hear other's pts of view.

Drive to Epcot. I would plan on staying there all day. If anything, head to MGM later in the day. I think you're daughter will love all the Christmas decorations and excitment in Epcot. Do the kidcot stations in World Showcase. Can you still get a PS for a dinner character meal. The Epcot resorts have them as well as a few in the park.

Parking lots are the first thing to close so you are always safest taking WDW transportation. I'd take to the MK for sure. I think you'll be fine getting into Epcot but MK could be "iffy".

Swilphil's right about the driving. And if you didn't have the 4-year old, I'd say stick to Epcot all day, too.

Epcot's probably the best park for huge crowds. Probably not the best park for a 4-year old "bouncing with excitement." I'm assuming characters are what's needed there.

Just thinking out loud here.....if you arrived at the Magic Kingdom at 11 a.m., and grabbed a FASTPASS for.....naaaah, the Magic Kingdom's going to be a madhouse. Plus it's an EE day, so Fantasyland will be, to paraphrase the Unofficial Guide, "like a mosh pit, only with more strollers and peppier music."

How about the Studios for the mid-morning? Plenty of characters. Some decent attractions. And you could head to Epcot in the early afternoon when crowds peak. How's that sound?

thanks for the MGM idea - that just might work to entertain the little one!

We all loved HISTA and Living Seas, he's big enough for Fast Track this year too. So a combo of Characters at MGM and rides/attractions at EPCOT would be great!

Thanks
