I was wondering about how long it would take to receive our luggage in our room with an arrival time in Orlando at 5:10pm?

Bumping, because we arrive at 8 PM and hope to get our luggage before we leave for our cruise the next morning!

Nobody can tell you exactly how long it will take for your luggage to magically appear in your room. Figure on two to three hours, but that's an estimate ONLY.
It's always advisable to pack enough in a carryon to get you through one day/night at your destination. That's in addition to the standard "valuables/travel documents/medications" advice.

I don't want to know an exact time, but I'm just hoping for a confirmation that I'll get my luggage sometime that night, no matter how late it is, because I leave in the morning for a DCL cruise.

SusanNJ, I didn't mean to hijack your thread!

Yes, you will (I apologize for misinterpreting your question)
It's the really late arrivals - 10 PM, etc - whose luggage Bell Services will hold until the next morning so they're not disturbing Guests' sleep in the middle of the night. Just to make sure, when you get to your resort, go talk to somebody from Bell Services (or Luggage Assistance, if you're at a Value) and let them know you ABSOLUTELY want your bags THAT night.

No problem! I thought my thread got lost in la-la land! :)

Thanks, kaytieeldr! :)

And SusanNJ, I hope someone who has arrived at your time of around 5 pm will post with their ME luggage experience, just so you can get an idea of timing.

Can't wait to go!
