I just booked the land/sea package through DCL. Does anyone know what time flights usually get into MCO? Am I better off cancelling the flight and transfer portion and booking them myself? We want to be able to take advantage of the parks for as much time as possible the first day.

Thanks! :wave2:

I was just on the 10 day Aug 28th cruise. although we were allowed to board the ship around 12noon,, our rooms were not ready until 130pm.. So don't bother to RUSH to get there.. Its not leavinguntil around 5 anyway.. It was nice to be able to have lunch at PARROT CAY and to know the ship before we sailed.. but I would have been ok to get there at 1pm or so.
Have fun... and if you see NADEGE,, the HEAD WAITER for Dining rotation APL tell her I said HELLO.

Sounds like you're going to a resort from MCO. How early are you scheduled to arrive now?

If there is an arrival time that you can get that's earlier than the one you've got, go ahead and grab it...When you arrive at a resort you can check in, leave your luggage, and go to the parks and come back to move into your room at your leisure with no scheduled time for dinner rushing you...

That's just it, I won't have an arrival time until May (which is after the final date I can make changes). I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what time flights usually get into MCO when scheduled by DCL.

A lot depends from where you are coming in from. From the NY area we always had early flights that landed around 10:00 am.

Some other regions may not have as many flights so you may get in later. DCL does not guarantee early arrival....only that you will get there that day.

You may be able to book your own flights cheaper and then just add on transfers if you want them. At least this way you can book a flight and have control over what time you get to WDW.

If I book my own flights and come in a day early, can we still use the DCL transfers? Or do I need to have the flight come in on Sunday early am?
