I plan on checking in very early (hopefully) so I am pretty certain that our rooms will not be ready. Will they know ahead of time if my requests have been able to be fulfilled. (yes I know they are only requests). Or will I come back from the parks late that night and be potentially looking at non-connecting rooms at different ends of the resort.......I am trying to figure out if I NEED to get back to the resort before dinner in order to attempt to make a change. Do they actually "see" your rooms when you check in?

Thanks.

Relax. Your rooms will already have been assigned when you check in. If the rooms are not ready, you will not be given the room numbers. However, the Cast Member knows exactly what the rooms are. And he/she will be able to see the requests right on their screen. You can immediately verify that your rooms are connecting or right next to each other or whatever you requested. You will also be told the building number (but not the room number). You can make sure you are satisfied with everything before you leave for the parks.

I'll give you my example. The only thing I requested at Pop Century (last month) was a king bed room. When I checked in, the Cast Member told me at that time that my request had been granted but the room wasn't ready yet. Then she told me we were in Building Two in the 50s section.

Have a great time at the parks and don't worry about your rooms.

Yep...I can confirm that as well.:thumbsup2 We always check in, get that info and then go get snacks/food for the week off property until the rooms are ready. I definately recommend checking in early as there are more rooms not 'spoken' for that they can move around for you to accomodate your requests if they are not met from the get go.
