arrival night - wing it and do CS @ DTD or Kouzzina

We arrive on a Friday afternoon and are trying to decide what we will do for dinner that night.

We have ADRs at Kouzzina for 7:30. This is a tempting idea and may make it possible to see Illuminations before returning to Pop and going to bed so we can see MK the next morning (pre-opening ADR at CP).

What I'm wondering though is whether we would have just as good a meal and just as much fun going to DTD and eating CS, probably Wolf Gang Puck Express?

Opinions? Suggestions?

(We have the Deluxe DP and several TS and character meals scheduled later in our trip.)

Kouzzina is fantastic restaurant, so please don't confuse it with most of DTD. If you want to see a bit of Illuminations, Kouzzina is good. If you want to eat well, Kouzzina is great. Your group needs an open mind and palatte to fully enjoy Kouzzina.

I voted for going to Earl of Sandwich.

My vote is for WPE. We really enjoyed the food there. That way if you have a delay or are feeling tired from travel you can get in and out and go to sleep.
Our last trip we left very early in the morning to travel and had Chef Mickey's reservations for dinner. While it could have been fun we just wanted to get out of there.. we were so tired it wasn't enjoyable.
If you aren't traveling far then ignore me.

Eating at Kouzzina sounds like a plan since you can then walk over to Epcot via the Intn'l Gateway to see IllumiNations, but if it were me I would make a reservation at one of the WS restaurants instead perhaps Rose & Crown or La Hacienda de San Angel and watch IllumiNations from the restaurant
