arrival night - Raglan Road or WPE?

We are arriving at CSR around 3pm and we are planning to just do DTD the first night, going to bed early for an 8am CP ADR in the morning. Initially, I thought we'd do something quick for dinner and try WPE, but now I'm considering a RR ADR for around 7:30-8ish to kick off our vacation with a relaxing dinner. We are two adults and haven't done either restaurant yet. Will be paying OOP. Which would you do?

I am having the same problem- I can't choose ha! I've been reading reviews all night- think we are gonna go with WPE- we are on the DDP and everyone seems to love it as a CS option!

We have gone back and forth on this issue too. I finally decided to do WPE because I didn't want to be tied down to anything that first night. Also, Raglan Road is very loud, so not relaxing. However, the food is good. We've just added it to our "do on the next trip" list, however. Can't do it all.

Have never done WPE, but Raglan Rd is one of our favorites. We usually go for an early dinner so it is quiet and we miss the entertainment. I believe that the entertainment starts at 6pm. Enjoy your trip!

Here's another vote for Raglan Road. It is one of our favorites and a must do each trip.
It is a beautiful restaurant, with delicious food and warm friendly servers. It has one of the widest menus still in WDW.
The entertainment is great fun. The band is very good and the Irish Step Dancers are terriffic. Ask to be in the main room if you want to see the stage or one of the side rooms if you want it to be a bit quieter.

We went to Raglan Road last year on arrival day and we are going again this year. Gotta have a Jay Gail sangria to start the vacation!

I vote Ragland Road to kick of your vacation. The dancers are great and the menu has something for everyone. Have a wonderful trip!
