Arrival night CS in HS?

For our arrival day we'll be heading to HS. We hope to arrive around 2-3pm, visit some attractions, enjoy Fantasmic! at 7p, and head to bed at Coronado Springs. That being said, we will arrive hungry. What's a good counter service place in HS that would be sort of iconic? We normally start in MK at Casey's but without hoppers this trip, we'd like to save our MK for full days. Is there anything memorable in HS? I've been through the menus and nothing pops out to me; they all seem the same.

There really isn't anything memorable in HS. It's one of the issues with the park -- lousy counter service.

Yep. The sandwiches at Starring Rolls are decent. That's about it.

That's what I was afraid of :/ Maybe if we get in early we can grab a bite at Pepper Market in Coronado Springs as we check-in. If not, so-so burgers it is!

We usually do Fairfax Fare/Rosie's/Catalina Eddie's - that way each of us can order at whichever place we want.

Nothing is great, but we like the Backlot Express. Good Burger

We haven't found any of the DHS counter service restaurants to be comfortable. We have tried them all. We leave and go to the Boardwalk or Beaches and Cream. Sorry that doesn't help. Maybe eat before going to DHS? We have enjoyed the Pepper Market.

The sandwiches at Starring Rolls are probably the best but they close early...around 4ish. So you might not make it there in time. My second option would be Fairefax/Rosie's/Catalina's it give you the most in terms of choice. We had burgers there last time and thought they were as good(or bad) as any place else.

I'm in the same boat for my trip in Dec. We will be at Epcot for the afternoon and then hopping to DHS to see the Osborne lights. I have no idea where we will have dinner. We really don't want to spend time at a TS. We have come to an agreement that we will try to have a late lunch at Epcot and then just an evening snack at DHS but leaving it all open.

Just keep in mind Starring Rolls closes at 4 if you are looking for dinner.
