Hey

Myself and my GF arrive at about 6pm ish at Port Orleans resort Is there any recommendations any body has for what to do for these few hours before bed??

Take the boat ride from Port Orleans to Downtown Disney.

Take the boat to DownTown Disney and shop or just wander around. THe boat ride in itself is fun. It's free and you get to get in that WDW mood!!!

If your arriving on a Wed - Sat night, then go to the Riverroast lounge in main bldg at PORS and watch Bob the entertainer. His show begins around 9:00 p.m. (check at the lounge, Bob is a lot of fun). I also agree with the above posters tour the property including POFQ or take boat to DTD, do bit of shopping or if you don't want to see Bob at that time go to the show.

Check out the resort and hang out by the pool. A PS at a monorail resort with a ride on the monorail after dinner is one of our favorite things to do.

Please tell me more about Bob. What kind of show?

Bob Jackson has been playing at the bar there for over 7 years now and he is really funny - it's a mix of piano and comedy and singing - very interactive with all ages and he causes quite a bit of noise in the general area. It's really a great show - DH and I are leaving tomorrow morning and plan on seeing him sometime over this weekend. Definitely worth checking out and you can relax with the crowd and have a few drinks or some appetizers.
