arrival day park advice

Hi all, I haven't been to Disney in 5 years. We are doing a quick 3 day trip at Pop with Genie plus before we head over to Universal. We are flying in from NY should be arriving in Orlando at 8:40 if all goes according to plan. The question is what park to do on arrival day. The only park we aren't doing this go round is AK. Taking 2 teens who love thrill rides, originally I figured on Epcot as arrival day park, because TT and MS are their only 2 requests in that park so I figured we could make it work even with a late landing but now with opening of Guardians coaster I am afraid that may not be the best choice. Ideas, suggestions. Thank you

DHS also has a few thrill rides…TOT AND RNR. My teens prefer the attractions at DHS to EP.

I don't know if they're into Star Wars or not, but DHS also has Galaxy's Edge. Changes of getting a paid ILL for ROTR aren't likely too good since you're likely en route during the 7am drop time, but MFSR is a great attraction, as is the theming in that land.

Not big star wars fans, which is funny considering my 18 year olds birthday is May 4th but they do want to ride that ride. I guess Magic Kingdom is the best park for first day. Thanks for the thoughts.
