The Celebrity Sports Center in Denver, Colo., built by a group of celebrity investors including Walt Disney and Art Linkletter then later purchased by Walt Disney Productions, was used as a training ground for employees who soon would be operating resorts at Walt Disney World. Disney sold it in 1979.
