I have watched this show since the begining and after tonights episode it said
"Only 3 episodes left on Lifetime"

Did thye cancel this show? Is it moving networks?

End of the season I would guess. It usally ends in late august each year and dosnet come back till the next summer :( I'm gonna miss it.

I haven't heard anything definitive regarding what comes after the fourth season (which shall have 18 episodes). Keep in mind that the fourth season was announced in February 2009, and there has been no announcement of a fifth season. You'd expect that if they were going to do a fifth season, they would have announced that by now.

I do know that they are working on a spin-off for Brigid Brannagh's character. Gabrielle Union recently signed-on to lead the new series.

::yes::

I live in Charleston, where the show is filmed. They are not leaving or doing away with the show so I am sure there will be another season.

Unless all that is just being applied to the new series.

I love this show and hope that there are more seasons. (It is a long time from August to April though.) I noticed that this year the repeats of the shows are not as frequent as other years and I don't think they repeated all of last seasons shows before this season began as they did other years.

I, too, love this show. I watch it faithfully and I gotta say it is a long time from August til April! I love crawling into bed at 10pm on Sunday nights and watching it.

My son has been an extra on the show and just finished filming another episode. He was working a security job for the show a few years ago and was asked to fill out paperwork to be an extra. They like his crew cut;)

He says the actors, actresses and production crew are very friendly and introduce themselves to the extras. He also says the actresses are very pretty!

I didn't know about the spinoff, so I just Googled it. Seems it will be set in Atlanta, (Pamela works for the Atlanta PD), so I doubt it will be filmed in Charleston.

I was wondering what they were going to do w/ Pamela. Poor Roxie!!! Hope she makes a new friend. :)

While I like Pamela, I do not like the idea of a whole show revolving around her. I don't think she can carry a show. Army Wives is successful due to the ensemble, and I love the glimpse into the Army life. As a military spouse myself, it's very entertaining and often very real. Up till the last two episodes, this season has been my favorite. The one where all the men left had me sobbing. Great show, I hope it continues for a lot longer! :thumbsup2

I haven't seen it. Is it like The Unit? I'm always weary that these shows are going to do some horribly wrong stereotyping.

Given that they often film in Vancouver and call it Seattle, and film in Toronto and call it New York, I wouldn't assume that they're going to film a show set in Atlanta in Atlanta. Indeed, they've already set up shop in Charleston, so it seems very unlikely that they'll film the spin-off anywhere else.

This episode was the best all season!!!!!

I really hope there is another season, but I am doubtful. It seems as if the episode tonight wrapped up a lot of stuff.

As for a spin off........eh, it doesn't seem all that fab.

:confused3I also hope that this isn't the last season for this show. I love it and would hate to see it go as so many of the decent shows do. Let's just hope that it stays.:)

I agree, last night really was good! I really hope it's just the end of the season, maybe they are dealing with contracts right now. Anyway, one thing that made me laugh though. Did anyone otice that when Molly was delivered, she cried before she was actually out and then they handed her over to Denise, she was clean and no umbilical cord? She has a fully healed belly button. I thought that was funny, not very realistic. Not that it needs to be, but all other shows are so why wouldn't they? I just thought that was kind of funny.

I heard Katherine Bell had her baby, how funny the night she was having a baby on the show she was having her baby IRL. She had a boy. (ETA, she had the baby Saturday, my mistake.)

I love this show and would be very, very sad if it didn't come back next year. Not sure about the spinoff for Pamela though.

and they tied up 'most 'of the loose ends..2 weeks ago, when they were showing scenes from the next episode..they said stay tuned for the FINAL episode..then last nite they said it was the season finale..so who knows..but I hope they bring it back!

Yes, I did notice that, too! My husband & I both laughed about it. I also wondered about how quickly Denise seemed to give birth! And if Claudia Joy was the birth coach, why was everybody in the delivery room??? I don't care how close you are to me, when I'm in labor, GET OUT!!!

Hope it comes back.

Can someone give me a spoiler...Either PM or put it in highlights. I want to know what happened last night.

And yes, I always read the end of the book first.
