Army Wives on Lifetime ?

The "casino" cracked me up. Not exactly a new exterior - just a ft marshal building with a new sign.

Here, casinos are run by Native Americans and the age is 18.

I figured it would be like Harrahs Cherokee NC or something since they said North Carolina. Guess Lifetime didn't have the budget for a road trip!

All right, I know it's a small thing and would only bug folks who are IN the military, but come on, Lifetime, you shoot in Charleston, get the Air Force Public Affairs folks to come over and do a gut check on Brooke Shields' uniform! Terrible. (and her husband may have died 12 years ago, but Claudia Joy just passed, you're dedicating her memorial, have some respect there Michael!)

And the guy in Afghanistan with Frank? Name and US Army on the wrong sides. That stuff just bugs me.

It's stuff like that but you're right, they should take the time to accurately portray the military. I hate how shows feel the need to sex everything up. They went on and on about this great love they shared, let the man grieve!!

I always DVR it, and usually watch it just later on Sun. nights, but I didn't even watch it last night, cause I just wasn't that interested. I watched it this morning and man what a total bore!!! My thoughts exactly! When they started changing the cast around, and 1 by 1 my favorites were disappearing, I kept saying I would give it another chance. But as of last nite's episode, I have X'd it off my Sunday night must see list!

Did anyone see the June 9th show? Do you think that it was a season finale or series finale? I know it hasn't been renewed yet but it seems it always has been late to be renewed.

I do miss the old characters, but like the true military, folks come and go all of the time.

Yes, I watched it and it was terrible. While I won't miss the character of Joan, I will miss Roland, just like I miss Roxie and Pam, and Claudia Joy. The new story lines are terrible; the writers are really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

If it was the series finale, it wasn't a good one. There are quite a few loose ends to address in a few new more episodes if it gets renewed. I couldn't quite figure out why Frank came home. No drama there.

I honestly thought that this season was over for some reason, maybe due to lack of episodes. Actually DVRed it by accident, just happened to see that it was coming on last night. I'm so disappointed with the character development this season, can't think of a single newbie that I like and I cannot stand Brooke Shields' character at all. It's lost any semblance of reality IMO. Maybe I'll get around to watching it....

I watched the "Finale Salute" last night. It was fun seeing the cast again, the clips from the show, and hearing the back stories. I will miss the show.
