Armed Forces Salute Ticket

Greetings everyone!

Question regarding Armed Forces Salute Tickets that I've been reading about. It reads that the 5 day park hopper ticket is for active or retired military (+$99 for family members).

My husband, was National Guard, activated and was hurt during active duty and is now rated 80% disabled through the VA. I'm curious why disabled vets are excluded (or maybe they are not).

We really would like to go in '09 but it's still out of our price rang. If this is possible, maybe we can swing it.

Sorry your husband was hurt while serving but please thank him for his service. Disney is only allowing those who are 100% disabled through VA this special as they also have a military ID card. I think they are not including all other veterans as there are so many and many have various ratings that they would have to deal with so much paperwork proof. It is easier to deal with the ID cards. I have heard that there have been times when Disney offers deals to Veterans but not sure.

Well, shucks!!! I was so close to talking him into a '09 trip if we could get this offer. Guess I will have to wait till our scheduled trip on 2010.
