We stayed at the Biltmore for three nights. It is a beautiful resort. The pool was fabulous. Dinner at their signature restaurant was superb. We totally enjoyed ourselves and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. It must be phenomenal in the winter.

I love to hear about stays at our other options. Do you have any idea how your room stacked up? Do you think you were in an upgraded size/location over the very basic room?

Glad to hear you had a great time....

Did you see a lot of families there.... How about with little kids......

Thanks!

Pam... it seemed like a standard room. It had a king-sized bed, table and 2 chairs, desk and chair, iron and ironing board, bathrobes, safe, patio w/table and 2 chairs. It was very nice but I thought I saw an ad for $179 per night (summer rate) and since we paid 22 points per night, I guess it wasn't a good use of points, but we didn't have to lay out $600 only the $75 fee. We were very happy with it.

Laura... there were plenty of families, lots of kids. Every night they had movies at the pool, although it looked like the kids were older. They were in the pool on those noodle things. They projected the movie onto a white banner type of thing. It appeared to be quite popular.

One thing that was very hoi poloi was the cabanas around the pool. You could rent them for the day. I think they were $75 a day. Interesting way to spend your money.
