Would you recommend ariel's for breakfast or lunch? Are the waffles there Mickey? also I know my 2 year old is free at the buffets is that true here as well or will I have to pay to order him a meal? Thank you :)

I have never had breakfast there, but we had lunch there on Monday. My dd is 3 so can't comment on the 2yo thing. But I just wanted to say that I personally really really liked the experience, and was so glad I did it. I did not think my dd is a big princess person (she is not a girly-girl) but she was enchanted.

We had an 11:20 reservation and probably only had to wait like 15-20 mins to see Ariel who was super sweet. Then we were seated at a table outside, which was awesome...the weather was perfect. The princesses we saw were Snow White, Aurora, Tiana and Cinderella.

Also I thought the food was good. I had butternut squash soup which was really yummy. he tri tip was okay..not great but not bad. And the Desserts.....omg, they were amazing. I think I am a dessert snob and so I had low expectations, but wow, it was amazing. Each adult got a mini crime brûlée, a s'more like thing and a chcoclate strawberry. It was HEAVENLY.

If I were to do it again, I would do lunch just to get the desserts again :) but then, I have a sweet tooth :p

I don't know about breakfast at Ariel's but at lunch when DD was one she had a free toddler sized portion of the kids meal

Thank you. That would work although I'm pretty sure my dd4 would eat the toddler portion and my ds2 would eat her big kid portion :rotfl:

Another question do the kids get a different choice as a lunch starter than soup or salad? Only one of our 3 would eat that.

the kids portion did not come with the soup or salad. It just came with choice of veggies or fruit for the side. I chose fruit Since I figured they were more likely to eat that. :) but before the lunch portion, when adults were getting their soups etc..the waiter brought each kiddo some carrot sticks with ranch dressing as well. Of course my kids didnt eat it though. :)

They also served a decent bowl of bread, which smelled amazing. . and kiddos were happy to munch on that :)

The kids also get a different set of desserts. Ours got a choc chip cookie, little cup of jello with mousse on it, and something else I can't remember.

We went for breakfast last October and DD was free. You may need to tell them your daughters age because sometimes they forget and just charge you. They did that to us but when we said something they were quick to change the bill.
Breakfast food was ok. Kids weren't a fan of it though. No Mickey Mouse pancakes and I want to say the sausage was turkey and the kids wouldn't eat it. To be honest the kids barely ate and DH and I ate only because we were hungry and just paid a ton to be there lol. We went for my daughter and it was all worth it to see her so excited to meet the Princesses. We have some adorable pictures of her and the family that we will cherish forever. We swore it was a one time thing but now that we are headed back in November with Grammy we may do it again. This time we will try lunch though.
