We were thinking of doing breakfast or lunch here next trip. Since this isn't the usual character buffet how does it work with a 2 year old? I don't usually order her her own meal as she prefers to eat small amounts and can usually share with big sister or me, but... she does like having her own plate with some food on it. One of the draws of character buffets with an under three is not paying for them to eat so I don't particularly feel like buying her her own meal. Should we just do Minnie's or one of the hotel ones instead? Do they bring enough food that I could just ask for an extra plate? No flaming about cheapness needed as I'm fully aware I'm cheap:-)

They no longer offer sides or a n option to get a small plate of something. They used to. We had inquired on our last trip this past March.

We all had enough on our plates to share with our 15 month old. But we also brought snacks

To clarify: they will give you another plate should you share food. Our 7 year old never finishes her plate and it was easy to share. They just don't offer small sides of say pasta, rice or mashed potatoes for extra cost. It used to be complimentary for young children

DH ordered the skirt steak which had mashed potatoes and gave it to the baby.

How does this work at Minnie and Friends breakfast buffet for a 2year Old that Does eat?
I mean, typically. Do kids 3 and under eat free or do you just pay for them at kid prices?

They're free. Just get them some food and let them enjoy.

To clarify, children under 3 (ie 2 and under) eat free at Minnie's. 3yos pay the child's price.

At Minnie and Friends, you pay at the podium when you check in. If you tell them you have a child under 3, you will not be charged for him/her. Then, once inside, you can make your child a plate.
