Ariel's Grotto Character Meal

While I know that no character can ever be guaranteed at a character meal, I was wondering if anyone can tell me how often Sleeping Beauty appears at the Ariel's Grotto meal?

It looks like I'm heading down to Disneyland for my birthday and was thinking it would be fun to have a character meal on my birthday. Since there are no character meals with Mickey, I thought I'd give this one a try.

So, are the odds good, or hit and miss? While I obviously know that nothing is guaranteed, I'd feel more comfortable keeping the reservation if I know that Aurora will more likely than not be one of the princesses appearing.

We didn't get to see her on our last trip, we saw Cinderella, Snow White, Belle & Jasmine & of course Ariel prior to seating. I've seen Sleeping Beauty once, but that was when the princesses were in the Animation Bldg doing meet n greets. I hope she makes an appearance for you!! Have a great birthday trip!!

Thanks. I've seen her over by the animation building doing a meet and greet across the street from the Hyperion and also in front of the floral Mickey inside Disneyland as well. I hope to avoid the PFF if I can since I don't like the chance rotation that offers up.

We've seen Aurora at both of our AG meals, breakfast & dinner.

I was told last year when I booked breakfast at AG, that if you book the first seating of the morning, you are pretty much guaranteed the 4 main princesses (Aurora, Belle, Cindy, Snow White). And that is exactly who we got (as well as Ariel at the beginning).

We are there from the 14th to the 22nd.

We saw her both times we ate at Ariel's (11.30 AM seating and 11 AM seating), and also once for lunch at Goofy's Kitchen.

It changes depending on the season. You will need to call Disney Dining to confirm when they open during your trip. When I went in February, we had a seating at 9:40 am, which was the earliest seating during off-season.
