Does Ariel ever appear at breakfast at Akershus? I've read that she sometimes appears in ballgown at lunch and dinner, but I haven't heard breakfast.

We saw her on the 16th during breakfast! My dd's were thrilled to see her away from her grotto.

Did she walk around? You know why I'm asking -- she's a mermaid and has a tail! Just curious:)

Human Ariel was there in November. As soon as we entered the restaurant, they took us to get a picture with her. Then we were sat. I thought this was great so the kids would be a bit more relaxed waiting for the other princesses!

That's great news! My DD adores her and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll see her at a breakfast. The breakfast menu seems much more appetizing then the lunch and dinner...

I hear she appears in a ball gown (human legs form :) )

You can get a pic with Ariel as a mermaid at "Ariel's Grotto" in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom. Best of both worlds!

Oh yeah! We do that too! But DD can't get enough of her and to meet her as a human would make her trip! Plus, it would be great to have a meal and see her walking around while we eat.

I don't know if she walks around. She was stationary for a nice pic when we went. However, they might rotate which princess poses for the pics at the front of the restaurant.

Just for your FYI, when we were there over Thanksgiving, Belle, Aurora, Ariel, Jasmine, and Mulan were the princesses.

Sorry that my reading comprehension stinks and I didn't see where you posted about breakfast exclusively. I hope she's there for you!

has anyone seen Belle in her yellow dress at the breakfast lately? I just made an ADR for 1/30 for breakfast with high hopes that she will be there in her ball gown. Anyone seen her in it recently?

I've seen her some places in the yellow dress but not at a breakfast. I think the dress is too uh "poofy" :rofl2: for walking around.

Certain princesses are scheduled to be at each seating. For breakfast they have Belle in her yellow gown taking pictures with Photopass and for lunch/dinner it's normally Ariel. But please keep in mind that things can always change. I just wouldn't tell your daughter that Ariel will be at breakfast because the odds of that are not likely unless Belle can't make it. Not saying this in reflection of the OP but you would all be surprised how many guests tell their children that a certain character will be somewhere and get all upset when they aren't there. Entertainment is NEVER guarenteed at Disney. I know most here on the DIS know better but I just wish that parents would excersise a little more caution and understanding when it comes to what princesses will be at their meal.
