Argh!! What would you do?

I placed on order thought Disneyshopping.com this morning, and never received a confirmation e-mail. I called Customer Service this afternoon, and was first told that the confirmation e-mail isn't sent until the item is shipped. I know this isn't true, since I order often from Disneyshopping.com and get the confirmation e-mail within a few minutes of my order. So, I hang up and call again. This time, the CM told me the order hasn't yet been received (strange, since the first CM pulled up my order using the order number I wrote down from this morning), and that the e-mail wouldn't go out until the order was received. She also said that they're running behind due to heavy volume.

I need that e-mail so that I can forward it to Creationsrewards for the shopping points. Help! Should I call back (again?), or just let it go? I did e-mail DS.com customer service e-mail address, and am awaiting a response.
 
I would contact CR and explain your situation. I had the same problem once--can't remember which company I shopped through. I think CR just had me email them the basic info--order#, amount spent, etc. You might be able to use your shipping confirmation email too once you get that. HTH!
 
Thanks, Vicki! I did call DS.com again after posting this, and the CM I spoke with said that she'd put a note in my file that the confirmation e-mail never went through, and that it would be resent in approximately an hour. It's been over an hour (about an hour and a half), and still no e-mail. Hopefully it's just stuck in cyberspace somewhere!
 
Have them double check your e-mail add. I even just had them retype it in just to make sure no spaces or marks somehow magically appeared in it.
 

All 3 CM's I spoke with confirmed my e-mail addy, so I know my e-mail addy is vaild. Any other suggestions?
 
Either forward CR your shipping confirmation or ask Disney to send you another receipt. I noticed all my receipts took longer than usual over the weekend...12 hours for one from Target!

BTW, did you notice CR is giving bonus points based on the number of online shopping orders during the holidays?
