I've got exactly 463 words written out of the 5000 due by midweek this week. I don't feel like writing, I jsut want to crawl into bed and sleep. I've got a lousy head cold or sinus infection (going to try to get to the doctor tomorrow) and I can't stand some of the bands I've got to write about--not to mention I'm not at all familiar with them, so I need to do a bunch of research before I can begin...

Somebody give me some inspiration and Pixie Dust!

Anne

Maybe if you post the bands you have to right about somebody will have some information here. The disers know everything! Good luck with your writing.

I have two 5 page papers on Theories of psychotherapy and counseling that I have to get done TODAY! We are leaving on vacation Friday and I have got to get these papers done and out of the way. But, here I am... dising away. Oh, I did get the title and header of one of them done. I needed a break after that :lmao: :thumbsup2

Thanks! I've got the official bio's of all of them, but the bio's are often not the best way to go, I find better material searching through whe web and reading interviews and such. For the one article I need to write about ten different bands, and I've gotten four done, they were the ones I needed to spend the least amount of space on. I've got interview material for two of the ones I still need to write, I've just got to go get the recorder and tapes and listen, because neither are transcribed. I used interview material that had been transcribed and written up for another article for one of the ones I've already written. Unfortunately the two I need to give the most space to are the two I'm least interested in...

The bands are:

MUDVAYNE, ROB ZOMBIE, STAIND, SHINEDOWN, TRAPT, NONPOINT, THEORY OF A DEADMAN, HINDER, EVANS BLUE, LACUNA COIL

I'm about 4 papers behind for school. I have no motivation to do them - yet here I am on the DIS. Here's some pixie dust for ya, maybe it'll inspire me as well. pixiedust:

Awww. I don't envy you but here is some pixie dust just like you requested. I hope you feel better soon. :thumbsup2 pixiedust: pixiedust:

OK, I'm up to 730 words. Next is a band I like on CD but can't stand live, should be interesting, then I've got two I like, including one of my very, very favorites to look forward to... :)

Well the good new is that I'm alive and I've got the hardest, longest piece written and ready to submit.

The bad news is that I went to the doctor this morning, and I'm not so well. It's not a cold, it's quite possibly pnuemonia. I have to go for a chest x-ray tomorrow. When I first got there I couldn't even blow 100 on the flowmeter, and my blood o2 was around 90. After two nebulizer treatments, I got one puff out at 150, the rest were lingering around 120-125. (Should be around 400)

They wanted to admit me to the hospital. Not gonna happen, I'm too busy to be sick. I'm shooting KoRn tonight--which was a difficult gig to score, it took a lot of manuevering. I've got four more articles to write. By Wednesday.

I was sent home with about ten scripts, and I have to go back in Wednesday. The doctor knows better than to tell me not to go to the show, I reassured him it's a non-smoking facility and there will be paramedics there for that show.

This sucks. Next week would be much more convenient for illness to strike. :sad2:

Oh man...feel better soon! Pneumonia isn't something to mess around with!

That's a bummer. :guilty: Do take it easy once your show is done because pneumonia can really kick you. Get better soon. :grouphug:

I hear ya. Pnuemonia is kicking my butt right now, too. Hope ya feel better!

Just wanted to say - don't know if you've written about Theory of a Deadman yet, but I love them!

They did most of the soundtrack for the game Indigo Prophecy. That was my first exposure to them and now I'm thinking about buying their CD.

Hope you feel better soon. Don't push yourself too hard, or it will take twice as long to get over it. Here's some pixie dust that the meds kick quickly in so you can get what you need to do finished. :wizard:

It's going around. I had pneumonia about a month ago. I felt so bad. It took me about three weeks to kick it. Take care of yourself! Hope you feel better soon!
