I own a bright yellow Monte Carlo, and I love my car. I baby it, park it at the end of lots, in big spots or next to new cars only. It had only one small door ding that I got in a packed parking lot at Christmas this year
. Not happy, but its semi-small, and not that noticeable if you dont obsess.
All that until yesterday the red vehicle that parked next to me at work (darned if the only thing I can remember is that is was red, and a small SUV of some sort), hit my bumper and took a nice size chunk out of the paint job and plastic. Hey accidents happen .. I understand. What I dont understand, is why you would drive away like it doesnt matter that you just caused somewhere between $1500 and $2000 damage to my car without even leaving a note!!!
And wouldnt you know (surprise, surprise) that very same car is not parked in our section of the parking lot today even though its there every other day.
I guess my lunch will be spent carousing the remote lots .. good thing its a nice day, so they could park and walk without getting wet today . Lucky them.

I couldn't believe it. I then pointed out that their car was almost a foot over the line, which they said we could have done. I then told the Deputy to ask them what movie they went to. He did, and I pointed out that our movie started before theirs. After the Deputy checked out our ticket stubs, he wrote a ticket to the other driver.
