I will probably be there at opening. I get up around 7-8 in the morning anyway (I am also on the east coast), and today we have no school due to Columbus Day. Woot, 3-day weekend!

Nope, today is Columbus Day. Otherwise, we would have not school tomorrow as well. (A lot of schools don't have school tomorrow due to some Professional Development days).

Well, since so many of you will be on right at opening, I guess I'll be glad I'm at work! By the time I get home and logged on, you all will be long done with buying and instead jamming up fireworks and pirates!

(OK, so I'm trying to justify to myself that I should not go back home right now to be online at 10:00 am Eastern! Rationalizations, gotta love 'em!)

Well, I have Columbus Day and live on the West Coast, so: no school and it opens at 7:00 am. It would be very hard to wake up before seven on a non-school day, but I believe I just did it.
