Are you going at Easter? 4/3 Promotion Worked!

We had a room only ressie booked for 4/13 thru 4/20, and I didn't think we were eligible for the buy 4 nights, get 3 free promotion....but I was playing around on WDW web site and put those dates in for the promotion and it qualified!!

Didn't believe it, so I called reservations and it was TRUE! I rebooked using the 4/3 promo and we'll save almost $720!! WOW!!

So...if you're going at Easter and didn't think to call for the 4/3 promotion...go ahead and try!!

Isn't it awesome?! I was so excited the day the 4/3 deal was released, but then I read that Easter break was blacked out and I was so sad.....However, I logged onto DIS the same night and read about all the people booking the deal during Easter, so I called and sure enough it's not blacked out!

I think it's so great because I was fully expecting to pay full price. I saved about what you did, and that savings alone almost pays for the meal plan.

LOL!! Guess I wasn't telling anyone anything new then I haven't been on here in a while, and when I saw the blackout dates, I didn't even bother trying. But glad I finally did!! And that they still had the discount available at our resort!!

I was even able to switch resorts to get the new pirate room not too long ago. I am just estatic that disney is offering discounts during Easter, and such a good discount too. Now for the hard part and trying to figure out where to EAT on Easter day.....

We're part of a Grand Gathering, and some of our party aren't staying 7 nights...so I didn't think they were eligible for the promotion. But they told me today it was buy 4 nights, get "up to" 3 nights free....so even those groups staying only 5 nights or 6 nights are getting a pretty good discount too!!

DH is a teacher, so we always have to go at peek times (we'd never go in summer...we're allergic to heat and humidity ) and there are NEVER discounts at Easter or Christmas....so this is so exciting to me!!

I did not try at first, becaue of the black out dates. Thanks to these boards though, I was able to book Poly CL for 4/9 for 7 nights at the 4/3 deal!

I never checked our dates (Easter week) because of the blackout dates. But yesterday, after reading this post I decided to call. Sure enough we were able to book it. I was told by the CM that after the first of the year they still had so many rooms that they decided to release some of the blackout dates to help fill up the resorts.

It worked for us too! I waited to book for Spring Break/Easter week because of the blackout dates on the 4/3 deal. I finally called a couple of weeks ago and I got it! I wonder if as long as you check in by April 3 you get it for the duration of your trip?

Thats funny you posted this because the other night I was plugging in our dates with the 4/3 deal and the POFQ came up $750 cheaper than what we are paying. It was midnight already so I called first thing the next morning and the CM tried changing my reservations (we have 2) and she said her computer would not let her do it. I told her I could book it online right now and get those rates.

So she told me to book it online and call back and cancel my old reservation so that is what I did, I also added the hopper option and I am saving $612 per reservation.

The only problem I have been going online to Disney MY VACATION and I can't pull up my reservations. I just want to make sure those rates are still valid but I don't know if they are having problems or not with that website!
