Are you finding the Leappads yet?

I just got an email from Toysrus stating that new Leappads will be on the shelves at 6am Saturday, 12/10. No rainchecks.

I will need to get one for my daughter's bday on January 24th should I buy it now or will I be fine after Christmas? We are going a different way for Xmas.

I had to buy one for my sister's son. I got it yesterday after a couple of day's trying. If you want to buy from Amazon or other online stores you HAVE to get SMS instock alerts, even then they sell out in a couple of minutes. Of the tracking sites, wiialerts . com works fastest and best.

On Amazon's leappad product discussion forums, there are tips how to find the leappad. Wiialerts seems to work for a lot of them.

But you'll still have some misses, be patient and might take a couple days or so.

Walmart.com let me buy one at 4:15, was supposed to get an email saying it was ready to pick up sometime before 8:15. Nothing yet so not sure if it's there or not.
