Are you experienced?...wdw05...............

p.s. iam so sorry...tlinden16, thank you very much.

:wave2: Hi, Lil' Grumpy! Since you made it through my trip report and left some kind words, I figured I'd check yours out.

I really want to go on a Disney cruise, too. I can just imagine the kids saying goodbye to Mickey, Donald and Goofy. How sweet!

I haven't stayed at Coronado Springs, but it is a lovely resort, and the pool is awesome. Glad you enjoyed your stay!

Catch ya next time.... :hippie:

still doing the time out thingy....so i can comment on "not so a princess", is so! a true to life version...in all her princess: ways. speaking of, the special way she gets..into disney... made "far out" [oh,boy-i like reliving my childhood] an outstanding report. you should go on a cruise and it be even neater [so david cassidy- i can hear my sister screams now] if we were
on the same one? :cool1:

today is a snow day. hooray..for my little girl, not necessarily for me. i mentioned this because when it snows, i automatically think "cruise". you
know what?.....i don't think everyone here reads the cruise boards? and
if that's true than no "wonder" some of my commentary is ...fearful.
has anyone seen what happened when someone dares write a "bad" report
on the cruise boards? it isn't pretty. and you should see the :furious: over
food.... iam afraid to asked the difference between disney food versus
regular food. you've think they eat gormet at home & everyday are greeted by 5 star servers? and there's alot of ganging up. all i like to say is that disney cruising has given us alot of fun and plenty of food..i like to ask what makes a food expert but afraid to. disney cruises are fanastic but problems can happen.the key is to seek guest services and do not get tangle up...with the experts.
my advice from others? read carefully on what they're saying before missing
out on something you wanted to do...i.e. monkey farm in costamayan is a
"real life" jungle experience...one family got out of the cab and was "eaten
alive" by mosquitoes. they got right back in and returned to the ship? we
spent 2 hours and then got a tour around town. we also got "clued" in on the
best snorkling trips. and to interact with some of the locals.
* i could be wrong but i think the biggest reasons most have major disappointments with dcl are from the pressures they created from being misinformed. enough.

naptime..over? for me as my wife is ..snoring away...[she killed me if she
read that]. why? because she is such a lady...always and at all times! i
would have told her about her snoring but ive come to learn the better part
of valor has nothing to do with being truthful. yep , she has taught me
a whole list of things a lady never does....no wonder they're get so cranky.
but she did ruint a really good dream...me? sure i joined you in finding the new top 7 rides. 3 babes in hot pants..talked about "flashback"....behind the scene tours would be on my list. ahhh, the real disney world, pixie dust 70's style. oh,boy! [can you tell i like reading behind the scene reports].

it is awful quiet next door. peeking in and our boys were already gone. dwats!
hope they're aware that's the luau is tonight?! it is a new experience when your children are old enough to "do" disney on their own. sneaky out the
boys' door , it is still hot so i went over to the pool to do some swimming & more exploring. the lizards are still dancing...when i realized the walkway is
behind the shrubs. down from that poses a real danger. the grass. have you
ever walk on it? or ever look at it up close? it ain't like normal grass compare
to home. i am not talking about smoking it...as the danger. almost big enough
[where have i 've heard that word before..that's right, my wife "gives" it to me. but let's just say, not like a present-for accuracy sakes. now you know```everything from the "formalites" are connected to the text.] sorry-
big enough to roll up a sandwich. this has significance if you have small
children. because the grass leads all the way to the water edge. i just happened to noticed a small group of people watching looking into the water.
they're standing on the "short cut" bridge. [to the main complex/building/ shopping area]. i don't know about any cat, but my curosity was killing me.
something pretty interesting had their attention so i went over. yep, there
are real alligators vacationing at disney world! one guy was trying to convience a woman that it was tamed..something to do with the philosophy
of disney & would not allow any wild ones near guests. i was dying to ask him
if she was his mother-in-law but they soon left. that grass would make it easy for small [4ft] gators to go undetected and into the shrubs behind the
pool area..kids could be playing there. when i reported this, i was told they've been having gator problems. [keeping them out]. what they been doing was to removed those reaching 4ft. size. i want to know who responsible for the
"monitioring"? ...my guess, the guests [ though i thought this was funny, i think it is true. ] that gator looked pretty darn big to me. and needless to say
i made sure i wasn't facing the pool while using the hot tub..nope i told my
wife it was too bad her mother wasn't here because i would saved the best
seat jst for her. "how kind" she later responded...but don't blame me, remember what the other guest stated? disney gators are tamed....time out.

sorry for requiring alot of process...trying to make easier. gators, floridia
gators..@ wdw. this was oct.1, o5. was anyone else staying at cs? anyway
i hope this helps prevent any tradegies from occuring because we always
thought wdw was gator free. please be safe with the little ones. that
"rock" in the grass might have teeth! ok.

back to the room, they still sleeping...like snow white, aurora and all the rest. no noises either. it's time to rise and shine...or least go swimming. happiness
is...adding "down time" to really enjoyed the resort your staying out. did
i described the really neat swings set and the cool water slide? cornado springs minus the gators is a wonderful family resort.....

...after swimming, i showed my wife where the gator had been. so she would
be prepare whenever crossing the "short-cut" bridge. of course he was no
where around. she laughed, saying the hot sun was effecting my vision. but i still pointed out the water edge was only about 50 feet from the back of the main pool and there were bushes for him to hide. she noticed the beach area.
it had a hammock for guests. i had planned on using it...and later on i checked
it out...there were no gator warning signs. interesting. maybe a place for
the sweet mother-in-law to camp out? there also a little marnia nearby but
the gator made it easy to scratched that off my list. oh, the flowers covering
the waterslide ? caladium...yep we're into nature even books on wildflowers,
birds and reptiles. not that i think most are going to wdw for but it does
has some amazing wild life. [ i don't know about most disers' but i keep a
note pad on different things others are doing during their trips]. rats!, i had
been hoping someone else here [cyberspace] was there during the same time.
promise/ cross my heart thingy--one night after a big rain storm ,the sidewalks were covered with frogs..next time i'll have our little amphibians
book. we also had that cornered room...and something with a pointed head
kept popping out but i could never get a picture. and her's a secret.. in front
of the main enterance there's a banna tree with little bannas. back at camp, the boys were still out so we left them a note. after unpacking, we realized
that our daughter grass skirt was left at home...she cried because she wanted to wear it for the luau tonight. the skirt was from her lilo costume.
i don't know about others--no matter how much we prepare, we always
forget something important...and if anything related to our daughter than
it going to be a costly mistake. just like forgetting our re-usable mugs. lucky
they had some cheap on the ship. but as this night turned out, the skirt
wasn't so important because ther were several rain storms. [they didn't
interact with the kids on stage]. so we got ready and my wife substituted
a castaway outfit..and i got to say she was super darling in it. and off
we were to the poly. you know what we like to do is to loook out the bus windows. it's neat to start seeing the really big attractions...and build the
anticiaption. here's another secret.....we like taking pictures of the billboards.
they're neat for scrapbooking. ahh but you did'nt expect that from a guy?
well like i said, we do alot of things together. one thing about the luau..it's
a long walk from the time they dropped you off by bus. it is like a maze and
it split off. i noticed at the end, others came from differnt directions. important when you leave so you don't get lost :rolleyes1 . it also important
to sign in as soon as you get there due to seating. we weren't first but
we ended up in the middle and in front. that's beacuse the roof did not
cover the first row.and the rains wipe it out. we really enjoyed the
colorful costumes, the theming, the music and even thestory line--a
professional woman re-discovering her heritage...and true love made for
an enjoyable how. and when the rain finally stopped, wishes was in thebackground. neato for sure. [ok--iam know iam old but don't worry you'll get your chance-someday]. my wife was absolute thrilled with the salad
and i "dig" the free wines. our boys/ ohboy!/ made it too. in fact, one
the dancer made over our oldest. it was so funny because when she pointed
out how good looking he was..he was stuffing his face. ha! i may only be
5' 8'' , both of my sons are 6'5" & 230/250. did i mentioned i like to
a hve grandkids..when they're out of college. i'm worried because all they
see are fast cars. yep, they take after my wife's side of the family. it should be pointed out that when it come to food, they measure quality by
quantity. "enough--im too full".

Woo hoo, Lil' G! Your report is getting easier to follow...or maybe I'm just gettin' into the flow. So sorry about your little one's grass skirt, but I'm sure she made a darling castaway. :sunny:

Hey L'il Grumpy! Good for you for writing your report. Yay! :cool1:
Belated Happy Patrick's Day from Ireland. We had a pathetic parade here, really really chronic, trucks and very cold kids walking looking miserable. :teeth: If people here in Ireland want to really celebrate St. Patrick's Day they go abroad. :lmao:

Regards to you and your sweet family! :goodvibes

I know what you mean about gators. I lived in FL for 10 years (Tampa Bay area) and we had a gator that lived in the pond outside the law office where I worked. There were also some ducks, but everytime the ducks had babies, they'd disappear after a few days. Seems like the ducks would have put two and two together and found another pond. ;)

Hey, Lil' G...just read your response to Zzub over on his thread, and I've just got to tell you: You're good people!!

:goodvibes

darn it...sorry about missing the mistakes..it took a little longer yesterday
and i had to go to work. when i mentioned the front row was wiped out
by rain, that's beacuse it wasn't covered by the roof. the people orginally
in those seats looked at us as if we wereto give up ours. ha! we ain't
"experienced"for nothing. but any time it stopped raining they came back.
this went on several times and i think to "bug" us.. that's because they
brought a cm and "barked" at the poor fellow ,towels & all...during the
show. ..giving us dirty looks as if we caused the rain! [we maybe i
was doing a little wishing...and one of my grandmother was gyspy queen..
"card reader and alll...here's a family secret..this hasn't been told to my
kids. they get into enough trouble as it is.] also we were orginally
ahead of them but they came out a different path and crowded in
front of us..in case someone feeling sorry for them. oh, this reminded
me ~we alot like that family in the christmas story---remember the wife
taking her time & the father hollering, "if you don't hurry, we're going to
miss all the good trees!"...that's us every morning. finally the "salad". if
my wife say it was the best ever than it's worthy of recognition. she
and her mother has had receipes published incuding in the ohio's
200th birthday edition. anyway, i hopethat makes..beter sense.

ok, let's get [more] jiggy wit it! young people talk makes me chuckles.
and i like the candy too. my kids go "you don't understand" ..right..that's
why we have a really old jefferson airplane poster hanging in our front room.
it's from live at the filmore auditorium...oh, boy! here's hoping someone
remembers them. anyway, after the show we head back to our room
and some well deserved sleep..ahhh..there's nothing better than an "off
day". that's the plan since tomorrow is what we call a "do-nuthing-but
-loaf. however, we had a little problem during the night...i should've never
pointed out the banna tree ...to my one boy. he's the middle child..and let
me say, he wasn't too happy losing the baby postion that he held for almost
11 years. and worst...she was a girl...and a princess: . a long time ago he
ate a robin egg. i should 've known the under-riped bannas would be too
much..temptation. belly ache...and instead of suffering in silence..oh no..
pounding on our door. [when a kid get sick , they want their mother].
but of course, that means "consulting" [waking up] old dad. the next morning
we went to food court. i am feeling lil'grumpy especially after learning why
he became sick....now he feeling fine and all smiling. just like the robin egg

incident i was sick for 2 days. we did learn something important from the
green bannas..nausea/vomiting is less painful than constipation.

well my wife trying to figure out this free dining stuff...i never did
my job is to do the retriving of various stuff she ordered. as i was doing
this a lady was walking right toward me. we were on a collision course.
why? because for reasons beyond me she is walking backward...and i
couldn't say anything fast enough. it was't until see ran into me did she
turned around. i expected her to have been embrassed or say sorry or
excuse me a long those lines.nope, she gave me advice...
"look where you're going". [now if read a little of my intro -you know
what coming]... "i'm sorry but i didn't hear your beeping horn!.
she made a funny face which i couldn't help myself even more...
been married toooo long? that did her in and she stormed off. [ i don't
like getting mad at disney world and i beleive in being tolerant but for her
to project blame /anger for something she did made ..react.] and as you
can see , things happening before reduced my compassion levels. she told
her husband [well,i was right]...and i could see the awful expression of
confusion. then he saw my monster of boys and was in pickle hmself.
severed him right for laughing at her in the begining. and so that how we
started this "quiet day" at disney..that my boys now xalled "dad fightin
around the world" ..from the russell crowe skit. my wife took the lady
part..."you could been a gentleman" line. [which she uses alot]. well,
that's another reason for describing myself ..ladies, guys have feelings too!
even worst, we were seated next to a family...that decided thiswas the
best time to give their dauther a stuffed bear..the thing was bigger than
me! and so they had to put it on thefloor and it kept fallin against me. i
tried to switched but my boys already saw what was happening.
indigestion, for sure. here i'm
thinking the happiest place on earth...must have made a wrong turn and
ended up at unverisal. enough, fighin around the world.

p.s. i really appricated the encouragment. and i am sorry about it being
diffcult.....it so easy to get carry away. by the way, this represents my
first ever writings on any board. he,he,he not so aprincess...i using your
format..i feel like cheating..back in school days. :rolleyes1 :hippie:

ok, time in. after breakfast, nothing else exciting happened. actually, even the
"run in" wasn't much except it amazed me how she snarled at me for her
walking backwards. :confused3 i remember trying to figured out why and the
best i could determined was trying to keep an "eye" on her husband. it also
indicated my wife was feeling edgy...anytime she takes the opposite when
i am "right" means she "looking" to put the gloves on. here's another benefit
of being "experienced", i redirected her to the gift shop and brought her
choice of chocolate candy. [maybe i am not as stupid as my computer been
indicating?]. oh, at the gift shop, i asked if i could trade in our old/soiled
pal mickey? here's a secret....thefirst lady said, are u kidding? well i just went
to the second/ more "nicer" looking lady and bingo! no problem. oh,boy! that's
made my day. let's see, it is hard to remember what else we did because
nothing exciting happened...we went swimming and tried out everything at
the main pool. i really enjoyed doing kid stuff with my kids like the swings
and climbing gym. the hot tub was wonderful even though it was already
hotter than the "disney princesses" [ i mean that in a fatherly way--ok].
noted..i faced the bushes @ all times. filmed some more lizards and
butterflyies. and some craxy bugs were "acting" inappropriately. got into
alittle trouble by pointing this out to my wifey-poo and saying, "hint/hint.
[cost me more cholocolate]. did not go to the hammock but did ride with
an old buddy around the buildings. i let him be my guide [think jmmy c.]
he,he, he, sometimes i feel like a regular jerry sigfield. get it? ok, you
don't have to laugh that hard! here's thegood news....i was rewarded
with a roll of mickey stickers. think scrapbook...for my wife poo. and
who know maybe i could cash them in for someth...sorry i forget we're
@ disney. [yes, i am a typical guy.] it's also true, "you're always on mind"
is one my favorite song. did i mentioned we eating at the wildness trail
end tonight? but before that, here's a secret...i learned alot from my guide
and got to meet [any of you?] some nice guests driving around the golf
cart. in fact, i think i found my retirement job. food is my second favorite
thing...and speaking of....all these remonders [get it] got me flustered
...so sorry ..to call a tome out ...but i need to check what my wifey poo
is up to. sorry , i meant kids.

Hot Disney Princesses?

Bribing your wife with chocolate?

Lil' Grumpy...you...you...you MAN you!!!! :smooth:

...not so a princess ..the sweetest. if anyone deserve the best chocolate
disney has to offer..it is you! [ i've been reading your other postings &
the delights you bring to'em]. f.y.i. i bringing an extra almond joy in case
we ever meet. the #1 way i think for others to "git it" is from hooking up
with others you do. before 99, i despised going...it felt like labor...but
when the mother of that little girl "asked" if her little girl could "sit" by
my daughter, we shared something really special. it was too cute
because either girl had no inkling what was taking place. that's when it
hit me. over the years, i wonder how many here have helped us...like
taking our family pictures and pin trading and so forth. i 've read many exciting trip reports describing such encounters and i hope everyone here takes time out from wdw schedules to help others to "git It". hey, we've
to be sneaky if we meet because my wife is very possessive....not of me
but the choloclate.. have you seen that commcerial where the milky way candy bar a "girl". they missed the mark..it should've been the other way around.

ok,before going to the trail end buffet , we went and rode the "momorails"..
epcot & all. ohhh, to me the monorails have always been my favorite ride.
[even our lazy days are planned-somewhat]. we even have a monorails
chat...that start out with one of us and ending up being a choir. so what
we get funny looks, we are having a blast. here's one of our family secrets
[taboo for sure]...wego during mid day..when most all at the parks. that's so it is easy to rideup front and not be asked to leave]. we also "Git" to know
thedifferent drivers and do a little pin trading. ther's nothing like the monorails.
so instead taking a trip by the lazy river [anyone ever went to an osmond
brothers concert? up front & all? talk bout some cool pics--and i don't care
if you're making fun...they put on a great show! and yes i thought marie was
cute..how much...my wife [she'll kill me] could been her double. ok, i mentioned just one of her family secret ...her uncle was their professional
bus driver. and so you know ..they"re relly nice...but not andy williams. fame
went to his head. any way, the mono rails are great for doing the tour
"over the lazy ..disney's rivers". and bring your camera. and did you catched
"here's a secret" part? being nice, you can do a behind scenes tour without
paying because the workers really do know disney best. oh,boy! sure hope
no disny man readsthis or they're probably start making ..& charging monrails
mid tours...enough running around, its time to eat.

here we go...i really like taking the boat ride to the trail end's eatery. on
the way we saw some cranes and took some pictures. pretty boring but
fun none the less. what was interesting was going over top one of the
highway. wouldn't that be the prefect place for a gator to "drop" in
on a tour bus? this was the first time to visit the wildness area. we stayed
in 2002 @ the lodge but never gotten off. i did found the lawnmower tree?
the tree almost completely covering the mower. if i had asked, we would
never find it. and can you beleive it, there was a disney outpost store
..selling pins. my daugther favors tinkerbell so we are always redirecting.
our first pin was 88 and only a dollar...boy those little things sure are
expensive. when we check in , it started to rain. we begin worrying about
the movie. tonight was supposed to a princess show..sleeping beauty.
oh well...and as soon as we were able to get the rockers, our name
was called. that place was bigger than it look. we sorta snaked in and
around the tables until we reach our. if memory serve right..facing the buffalo
head. there was something under glass on the floor taking up alot room.
what i didn't care for was having to climb stairs to get to the buffet.
people thought nothing bout cutting in front pending whatever they
was trying to get. it felt disorganized until getting the hang of it. i was
not impressed with selections especially the way things got mixed up.
and i think the reason people were cutting because of all the stairs
climbing. the main thing we got full after about 10 trips [ok, i'm talking
about my boys]. after dinner ,they split.. they're not too much interested
in princess movies. the rain had almost stopped. so we all agreed to meet
back at the room. we had to "catch" another back and find the threater
which was nothing but logs and an outdoor screen. actually it was pretty
neat. however, because of the rain chip et dale were cancelled. [ i guess
even dampnes can causes mold or something]. after the movie, everyone
going back had to retraced the bus route. i can remember it being late
and worried that we could miss the last one. what was different was
taking the bus to dtd instead of the boat. ok..this is where things got
really interesting....enough, it's :bday: and if i know what good for me,
i'll better not keep my wife poo waiting.

party like a rocking chair was more like it! ha! what insights...as i used
to do that very thing..and not just on holidays. and that is why i gave
my "take" on the car chick reports. when you are young [younger], style
dominates your appearances/decison making...later on [older & wiser]
"comfort" measures enter your way of thinking. when car chick described
"hang/over" symptoms, yes i remember the consequences of tipping
too many--which for most, resulted in a change of lifestyle. i think it's
called maturity? here's a secret...if you drink a glass of water after every
etoh drink than you avoid the really bad hangovers. the trick is to
remember. ahhh to be young again.

ok, it pretty obvious i am not proof reading. well, i 'm crunched for time
so i can finished..our next trip is less than 6 mos. & i'm committed toward
running a local kid program...so i hoping the mistakes are overlooked. this
takes longer than i thought & since i am new, it is way behind...here's
hoping no english professors are reading! maybe others will write theirs
by being encouraged from my mistakes? i hope so because i really enjoy
reading what others are doing compare to what we think is important.
[p.s. did i mentioned i really enjoyed seeing you all pictures too?]

in review..and that's exactly what i did..refered to our home videos. i
thought the glass case had some indian chief [mummy] or canoe. in
reality, it was some sort of river boat? that struck me as being kind of
strange because riverboats were used on the ohio river & later
on the erie canals. however, this used to be indian country and chilicothe
is an indian name. disney does alot of historical documentation and should
be applauded. here's a secret...the awakening land..staring the late/great
elizabeth montgomery/bewitched was based on my hometown. she also
was in some of the outer limits shows. ok,i always had a crush on her.

here's another footnote..i amazed how many cm we met that were from
ohio. back in 03, we were eating at the liberty tree before mnsshp, et
our server was from ironton, ohio and the family behind us were from
lancaster, ohio. here i was expecting everyone to be from new jersey!

ok, now it's late and rainy. we are waiting [hoping] for the last bus back
to dtd...then back to cornado springs. if you stayed on property before-
then you know it is the way disney filtered out the abusers. unfortunately,
new timers are sometimes confused by this system. those 2 factors coming
together ended our boring /uneventful day. first, we needed back to
the room because tomorrow begun our parks days. [mgm]. we were getting
wet and this wasn't the best shelter. so you can imagined how happy we
were to "see" the bus. hooray & oh, boy! [ one of mickey's trademark
sayings]. the bus was mostly deserted except there was one family -
husband/wife/2 boys] already on. funny, they didn't get off. that's when
i noticed the husband leaving his seat and having a pow [pal] wow with
the driver? the father return to his seat as i noticed the driver slipping
a $20 back into his pocket. he than came over the intercom and of course
he informed us we were going to dtd but first a quick stop @ the grand
floridian....i looked at my wife and asked did he just say grand floridian???
yep, she confirmed. well now it was my turned to have a little pow [no
pal of mine] wow with this driver. ok, the following is based on what
my wife told me...the father guy had the "look of getting his own way"
all the time. i'm taking it to mean he was acting uppity but i was too
far away to see. what i saw was a guy twiced as big as me. he was
also well built like a football player--steroids type. i heard alot of moaning
but no objections. truth is, i'm not very imposing at all. but as you
know, "looks" can be misleading. while i only weigh only 160, i don't smoke
and it's 160 lbs of muscles. well, if you read the pretext than you also
know that i also carry a bold atittude. that's what "experienced" gives you.
but my nerdy [glasses & all] looks seem like an invitation....all i did was
asked the bus driver to drop us off at our hotel. was that unreasonable
since he was going to the grand floridian? he said he couldn't do that?!
"well, i guess we won't be able to take that other short cut!!" that's
when the bus driver moan. when i returned to my seat, the father/guy
was xissed , flushed and steamming with fists drawn. great! how
do i get into the messes? first he stated , "thanks alot!!"...now if my
2 monster of boys were with me ..he wouldn't peeped. no way
was i going let him take us on a joy ride. nor did i want a physical
confrontation...after all he was a father/tired/ and lost. but before i
could say a word to his nastiness, a passenger from the back spoke
up.."hey ,man it isn't our fault that you got on the wrong bus! we
both looked back and this new guy [my hero] was twiced as big
as both of us put together. that ended that! though the fahter/guy
was then stuck listening to his wife giving him the devil. we sat
quietly until we made it to dtd....and off to next stop.[ not before
getting the bus number above the driver. ] i know busdrivers must go
thru alot but this isn't the way to make money. and this was a bully
who was going to act out. no time to waste..got to get back home
[cornado springs].

but as mentioned i reveiwed our video last night..
someday when others are viewing , they're going to wonder why
i was taking so many shots at the bushes...i swear, there was
something with a snout that came in and out but i could never
catched. here's another secret... you can see that leopard over
at the main pool from our room ...in fact that's what they named
the slide.

you think after that ordeal, we would deserved being dropped off
at our bus stop. of course, not. my wife poo beleives we did
make the "register" but for all the wrong reasons. however,
i heard thru cm's that there was smebody worst then me...he
was even spotted driving a surrey bike and ringing the bell at
some poor "unfortunate" souls.. for the steaks of poppa john...
where is disney security????

exhausted and relieved, we were sitting up front. that's became
significant because our first stop was clear over on the other side.
[cornado springs has 4 stops]. a very nice lady and her daugther got
on. before sitting down, she asked the bus driver if we was stopping
at the other bus stations... that's a secret..using the buses to go
from one area of the resort to the next. :cool1: however, we wasn't
ready for the driver response..he was than nasty , he was mean--
basically treating her like she was stupid. she didn't say anything
-probably because we were there and it embrassed her. quietly
i wrote hisbus number down. well,we all got off and that's when
my wife askedif she was oked. she burst into tears and my wife
spent the next 10 minutes comforting her. so if any of you was
on that bus... make no doubt about it....i did called the bus
supervisor and we had a little "discussion".

oh,boy! i never knew taking a day off could be so...relaxing>>>
tomorrow our first park, mgm.

Good for you! There is nothing worse than a grumpy CM to take away the magic. Most of them are really great, but the icky ones give them ALL a bad reputation.

Keep goin'...this is gettin' good!

disney to me is for being happy..everyone. i was so wiped out from the
first encounter that i didn't pick up exactly how mean the bus driver
was being. [even though i was near the front]. but my wife did. the lady
was caught off guard & was putting up a brave front. it was my wife
who went up to her or i don't think she ever would said something. and
by talking to her was when i realized how she was using the bus stops
to get herself and daughter around [at night] that impressed me. what
a great idea! boo on him..i still can hear say, "all i was asking him if he
was going to stop at bus stop#4"..to me that was very reasonable as
to make sure he was not going back to dtd? some may ask why
that would be necessary..because they didn't always follow the same
bus stop.

all this activity made us late to bed but i slept very well. it was hard to
roll out of bed... until i realized we was at disney! up like i just killed
3 pots of coffee!!! for an old guy..i beat everyone up even the boys!
which means the honor [privilege] on how to wake them up. dwats! they
locked their dooor...who know how late they were up but not enough
to have impaired their judgment. ok-i can't beat on the door without
upsetting the misses. i know, i 'll let mickey do it! i later learn it was
stitch. i felt so sneaky...like 10 y/o again. i mean, do you think my
neighbor would called my boys on their cel phones? wonder what would
they think if i called them 7am on a saturday?

ok, we all went to breakfast...and it is a beautiful morning.
what day is it? not only do i not know, i don't care..that's my wife duty
because of priority seatings. [oct.3]. anyway, it is beautiful. so we
make it over to the foodcourt. i watching out for ladies walking backward.
the coast is clear. whew! the foodcourt has these oversized statues
that sorta like a toteum poles. one is of a very big white cat with black
spots. i kept thinking it should been painted the other way around.
what didn't have was those big tv sets like the all/stars movies..very
good for kids entaiment. [kids don't talk watching cartoons]. you seen
the bambi/smokey commercial--"what we going to do today?" as soon
as i asked my little princess was all it took for her to start driving her
older brothers craxy. oh,boy! dad 2/boys 0. i was feeling lucky. but this
time it wasn't my wife who ruint my mood..it was our so call hostress.
she informed us that we wasn't entitiled to free refills...because of the
free dining plan. what?? it is not a want but a real physiological need
to refill my coffee mug at least 3x. so the game was on including
moving around to different tables. afterall, coffee is important to me
as vitamins. i think all this free dining was making some edgy...no
problems, we just compensated. and by golly, the sun was still shining
when we left...it's looking like a dippy do dah day. back at the room i
made our final checks..last year we was getting on the bus to mgm
when i realized i had everything but the camera. i'm the muley
including carrying all thecamera, autograph books, extra film, batteries,
and of course our daughter toys. i used to carry my wife extra water bottles ...until i caught her!. her's a secret, a little flashlight comes in handy. happiness is...reaching the parks with everything you need! like always the boys split as soon as we arrived..i told my wife they're acting as if don't want
to be seen with us. ok! is it wrong that i make them pose with the
characters too? [someday they'll thank me]. i don't know about you,
but one of my favorites things is to take a few moments to enjoy
the front of the parks. [it's one the eason i like christmas time..because
of the trees]. in that instance, i really feel like calvin/hobbes inside of
the "transform-izer" and iam 10 y/o..of course it only last a few seconds
before my wife starts yelling " all the best fastpasses are going to be gone".
well, what are you waiting for woman?! let's go......
