Are you easily offended?

I've notcied that some posters on these and other message boards are easily offended. You can say something like I hate red cars and they'll come back with, well I love them and your saying I'm a moron for loving them.

So how about you?

I don't get offended easily, but I have been offended a couple times on the DIS when the insult hit close to home.

Not easily offended on chat boards. I realize many people aren't "themselves" online and you have to expect the unexpected. (Perhaps better termed as the good, bad and ugliest!)

Just kidding. I don't even know what the heck I just said there.

I think we can all get offended depending on the topic and our mood for the day already. If someone is having a bad day already and then someone says something to them it might be the straw that breaks the camels back. Where as the same comment on a good day might be something they just laugh off. JMO

I have noticed this too, but I am not one of them. And yes my car is red and you are a moron for not knowing that red is a great color for a car!!!!

I am not easily offended for the most part. While not offended I do feel like a bad mother after I read some posts but then I have to realize that there might be some people who think they're stellar parents on the board when in real life they're totally different. I just take it all with a grain of salt.

It really depends on the person, some people have the ability to offend me and others don't. It also depends on what time of month it is.

I'm not easily offended, but I have been offended on here before, at least once that I can recall. I've probably offended people, though.

I do wonder about some of the people here though. If you automatically disagree with them, then you have somehow offended them...huh? I don't get that mentality.

I was only offended once here at a comment directed right at me personally, but usually I don't get offended.

I notice the same thing here, too. Some people think a different opinion or a question is an attack.

I'm not easily offended personally, but I will speak up when I see comments that appear to make unfair judgements or assumptions. Some people might take that as my becoming offended, but they're wrong, and I'm not bothered by it because I'm not easily offended,

The only time I get offended is when the negative post makes a personal dig that is sooo uncalled for.

It seems to me that a few people make a hobby of being offended. They read every thread just hoping they can twist some innocent comment and then they can lash out at other people and then claim they had a good reason for it.

I don't think I am easily offended here, but IRL if someone were to attack me verbally or call me names, I would be easily offended. Weird huh?
