Your breakfast at Ohana sounds great! We really wished we had eaten there for breakfast or dinner on this past trip! It always smelled so good!

I think I can tell what Leslee was reading...I love the Hunger Games!
Yes! I've read it too and really loved it!

I am equally shocked that the girls did the parade! It's a bit out of character for both of them and it just proves that you never know what's going to happen at WDW.
Right?!?!? I couldn't believe my eyes! Maybe because other kids were doing it, so they weren't "singled out" which is usually Savannah's problem with getting unwanted attention from strangers?
The look on their faces (especially Leslee) in the pic with Pluto is priceless.:
The character interaction was GREAT, not just at breakfast, but all over on this trip!
You, a perfectionist about pics? NEVER!![]()
Okay now I want to do breakfast at Ohana with Em! I did it years ago with my BFF who loves Stitch but never with Em and N!
Oh you should, we really liked it!![]()
Also having just done 7 hours in Epcot which kicked my butt I have no idea how you did 11!!!!
I'm not sure how we did it either, but my feet still hurting nearly 3 weeks later gives me pause about ever doing it again!
Sorry my replies are so short but it's hard to type on the phone! Oooh I took crowd pics for you!
We've not done Ohana (so not a Stitch or family style lover), but I had heard about the parade and so glad the girls participated. Great job on the table mojo again.
What a great last breakfast! We did Ohana for the first time for breakfast in October and loved it. We didn't feel rushed at all either, but we had a late ADR at 10:45am. We were like the last ones in the restaurant with the characters all to ourselves!m It was awesome. Looks like Savannah was having a great time, the smile on her face says it all!
What a great morning so far! I can't believe those boys of yours...staying behind to hang at the hotel.....sheesh. What are they - NUTS?!?!! lol
Yep...they said that one day was enough at Magic Kingdom?!?!?Of course, Dylan has always said "I'm a half-day-park-kinda-guy...
And as for reading TR's - when we get back from our trip, I will be writing one...so you can try and read mine if you'd like. It may not be quite as good as yours - but I'll try!
The last day in Disney is soo hard. Generally, it's the only time I cry when I'm in Disney and that's because we have to leave - well except for an occassional meltdown. Thanks for sharing your adventures and the great pictures.
I am loving your trip report!!
THANKS!!
We are also a homeschool family.
Homeschoolers of the world unite!!!!Isn't it the best ever?!!!
We went for our first trip last May and are going again this year!
How did you like the crowds/weather in May? Did you go at the beginning or end of May?
My oldest has just started studying Japanese, since she is really in to Manga/Anime. My youngest has decided she wants to move to China to work with pandas, so between the two of them, we spent a lot of time in the China and Japan pavillions.
My boys are at the perfect age to really enjoy what WS has to offer culturally! Dallas (16) decided he wants to learn all about Italy and learn Italian after spending time in WS!
I cannot wait to read more!!

Julie
I have been internet absent for a few days, so catching up took awhile! I am giggling over the amount of photos I took of the exact same things you took photos of. Last day is so sad. I am dreading it, and I haven't even reached my first park day!
Boo..I'm sad its your last day too. Please draw it out as long as possibleSuch beautiful shots of the France Pavilion! Really made me hungry for some pastries. -Amanda
OH MAN THOSE CROWDS!
They make me so panicked as I was planning on visiting last week of Jan through first week of Feb, for two reasons 1) the low crowds and 2) my boyfriend doesn't like the heat (thus cancelling out September).
I was planning for January 2013 but after seeing your pictures and factoring in all the Fantasyland expansion hoopla I'm freaking out a little.
I think it's just about preparing yourself. The lines still were not horrible and we got to see everything we wanted, but it was NOT meeting our crowd expectations.
I had been told that January was "JUST LIKE SEPTEMBER" and in my opinion, it's not. It may have been the freak weather or free dining but I think it made it a little harder for all of us to adjust b/c of our EXPECTATIONS that it would be a really slow time. Maybe disney really is getting to the point that there are no slow times, just a little less crowded than summer?!?
But, we really enjoyed ourselves, and there were times (like at RD) that it wasn't super busy. I will admit that I would rather go in October if that is what January is like b/c at least Oct. has Food and Wine! Rey said he was positive it was busier than our October 2009 trip (BUT, that was two years ago and the economy is better now?)
Sorry for the ramble, just wanted to kind-of ease your mind!![]()
