Oh, I'm so glad you got to meet Phineas and Ferb! That is the one thing that disappointed us most about canceling our trip last year- we love those guys!

We have to add that to our DHS morning! If we went right after getting our FPs for TSM, I bet we could do a couple classes in a row (lots of people do this is what the CM told me) they do a different character each class!

What a bummer of a morning. I feel like at some point during your trip, you just end up having a day where people are grumpy or are just tired or.. not in good moods. It's bound to happen, even to the best of us!

That's weird that they let people in at 8:50! You'll see in my first chapter of my TR tomorrow what time they let us in... Still, 8:50 is better than 9 I guess! And I agree, the new RD procedure is much better. I would not want to deal with this running with the bulls thing that I've heard of. It sounds terrible and is NOT how I like doing Disney.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm sad that you guys didn't get a chance to go on Star Tours. I loved it so much more than I thought I would. I hope you get to go on it next time because it's a blast!

I'm the opposite when it comes to Muppets vs. Philharmagic. I LIKED Philharmagic but The Muppets just have my heart, forever.

I can't wait to hear about your ToT adventure! I have a theory about ToT that I get into in my next TR update, so I'm curious if it holds up to be true for you... if you ride it.

So sorry you were having a grumpy morning. Ugh! I hate it when the family doesn't participate. I would have felt the same way Karen. It would have dragged me down too. I try my best to get over it and I've come a long way. I used to even let other guests really annoy me, but now I take a breath, as the tourist ahead of me on POTC takes his 36th flash photo on the ride, blinding me. Deep breaths! I just think to myself, I've been here before, I'll be here again and I am not going to let someone else ruin it for me. It's hard to think that in the moment though.

I hope the day gets better. Can't wait to hear!

Other guests really rarely bother me, so I was super annoyed that my family kept noticing and pointing it out! I thought I had it all covered when it came to dealing with my family on the trip, but taking on their complaints wasn't something I thought would happen, so I was frustrated that I couldn't just let it go and move on! Luckily most of this stuff was short lived, just on this day, it seemed to keep popping up!

About the iron ons, I know you did a ton of them...did they survive the wash? I made myself an iron on shirt and when I washed it the whole iron on thing came off! Well actually only pieces of it came off, so it ruined the shirt too.

I have a Nikon D40, which is an entry level DSLR, but it's kind of outdated now, I think the equivalent might be a D300 or something? I'm getting a new camera in a few weeks here, I'm pretty excited!!

Oh yes, I wash ours! Rey is wearing his from the 2009 trip still! It's all in the transfer and I get mine from someone here on the Dis boards. She cannot actually sell through the DIS, but her website is amymickey dot com and MANY people on the DISign boards will back me up on this, she sells the best transfers around!

OHMYGOSH, I hadn't remembered we would be in the same parks on some of our days! We could have walked right by each other or been in line together and I would have been oblivious, I was off in lala land! Let me know if you find yourself!

What's funny is that my ds really liked the trip but I wouldn't have thought he did when he didn't go on most things and had complaints. He really liked the food, and Epcot...guess you can't please everybody all the time, that's why WDW is perfect! Something for everyone, even picky 17 year olds.

Rockin my afternoon- DHS Continuted

So we left off with my grumpy family headed toward Sunset Blvd to grab food. I had done my research folks b/c the last two times I have been at DHS, I couldn't find a THING to eat! So, there had been a couple options at the eateries on Sunset Blvd, so I figured I could find something there. We had a few more issues with not wanting to give Savannah a regular CS dessert/drink with kids meal and I was starting to stress, but Rosie's had pizza/salad as an adult CS so she got that. Leslee did as well.

Fairfax fair had a salad that I could get without meat, so I got that. It was actually pretty good and it was nice to have some salad, all the foods I don't normally eat were doing a number on my system!

Dylan had chicken from Fairfax Fair and he liked it. Looks like I didn't remember to take the pic, but he started eating when I was still getting food for the girls. When he eats, he devours, so you have to be quick!

Dallas got a burger and said it was good, I totally forgot a picture of it. Wanna know what Rey got? Nothing. At this point I wasn't sure if he wasn't eating b/c he wasn't hungry or if he was pouting. Sometimes he won't eat if he's in a bad mood. He was saying things like "if we are going back to the resort soon, I'll just eat there". I wasn't too sure how I felt about this. I didn't feel done yet! At one point I almost lost it when either Rey or one of the boys said that "there wasn't much to do at DHS" b/c of course there isn't much to do when you won't go on anything!

Dallas was still feeling ill, so my brief brave moment wanting to go on ToT was squashed, I had no one to go with! I sat there trying to figure out what I wanted to do, it was getting super busy again, and I decided I was going to go ride RnRc. I asked Leslee if she wanted to go (Savannah had acted like she didn't) and Leslee said yes, so the guys sat there and we went off to ride!

Savannah came running up behind us b/c she couldn't bear the thought of me going off with Leslee without her, I think! The FP line went fast, but Savannah started acting scared right before getting on and almost backed out. I asked if she wanted to go out the exit and she said no, she would just DEAL. Well deal she did! Off we went and I didn't even scream b/c I had to ride with some guy and I was embarrassed!

When we got off, we were all laughing and smiling...that ride can fix any mood! I decided right then that I wasn't leaving.

We came out the exit and the guys were waiting for us. I said to Rey (something that he's said to me a couple times now!) "I didn't come to WDW to sit in a hotel room." He understood at least, but said he just needed a little break from the crowds and since Dallas wasn't feeling well, I suggested that they just go back and if he feels like coming back later, he could. So off they went and the girls and I took their FPs for RnRc and headed right back on!!! Ah the relief I felt and guilt at the same time, when the guys left. I just think it's silly to drag people around a park when they aren't feeling it, it's no fun for anyone.

The girls and I had SUCH a fun afternoon! When we got off RnRc the girls spent some time in the gift shop, goofing around and shopping.

They bought matching RnRc necklaces, which I only have a blurry shot of (I think I was still shaking a bit from the ride! LOL)

We got a Pick for Dallas' guitar, some cotton candy (I had told Savannah I would get her some, she's only had it twice in her life), and Leslee got a few things as well. After that we headed out and went to the bathroom. I HAD to take this picture! I know anyone who saw me probably thought I was nuts! LOL

After that we made our way towards the back of the park, but we stopped to shop in the Villain store and Leslee got one of her big purchases, her Jack Skellington bag.

The Villain store is becoming less and less Villainy and more and more Vinyl-y! I don't mind Vinylmations at all, but the Villain store has way less than even when I came in 2009, it's just a shame b/c it was so unique!

We had a date with Buzz and Woody! We had stopped by there earlier in the morning and the line was pretty long, so we decided to come back in the afternoon, we had some pictures and signatures to get for Colin (Leslee's 3 year old brother who LOVES TS!)

Buzz was desperately trying to say something about Savannah's hair and gave the thumbs up to the CM when he understood that's what he was trying to motion about!

We went right across to use our fastpasses at Toy Story Mania after that!

While we were in line, I got a call from Rey and he was at the bus stop headed back! He had gotten some food and quiet and was feeling better. The boys decided to stay at the resort until it was time to head to dinner.

And that folks, is where I leave off for today! I have gotten to the point where I'm not ahead on editing my pictures and I'm doing them as I go, which takes time. Work is also picking up, so my mornings are not as quiet with time to write! I will still be posting daily, I'm sure, but if you show up super early in the morning for an update, you may be waiting. I suspect most of my updates will come around 10-11am at least for the next few days when I have early morning petsitting to do!

YES! I had already ordered my salad at Fairfax Faire when I went to Rosie's to get the girls their food, that's when I saw the veggie burger, so it was too late, but I would have totally gotten it if I had realized they had it! Salad was probably better for me at that point anyway, but you'll see in the next update that I ended up having a snack later (Uh..YUM!!!!) b/c the salad didn't keep me that full.

I am glad the day started to pick up for you. I guess Rey and the boys just needed a little "time out". We all sometimes need a break from the maddness!! I feel bad when we leave the parks because you are only down there for a short amount of time and you don't want to waste a minute but, at some point you have to give up and take a "time out" for your sanity!! I am glad he decided to come back and join you and the girls though. Can't wait to read more.

And while you prefer to enjoy as a family, sometimes we just have to do the same thing and it ends up being better for all. That alone/apart time is just necessary at some points. We've done the same thing often- sent the guys back while us girls just shopped or something.

The food didn't look too bad either. I've never eaten over in that area, but might have to give it a try. It is so hard finding decent CS at DHS!

Yep, I think everyone needs a time out at some point, I'm glad Rey recognized that he just needed a break and then could come back and enjoy with us.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this! when we went with the IL's in 2009, we at at Sci-fi, so it was easier, but I still only had a veggie burger. Our issue isn't finding me something but finding everyone else something at the same place that has something for me...if that makes sense.
