Wow look at all your Jersey people! I think I am the only one leaving out of Philly! LOL! I posted that in travel and no one responded. Well it will leave more leg room!

We looked into driving too and the train. But I got fairly good deals on tickets so we are hitting the skys. It will be exciting for the youngest anyway. She loves planes.

So...........is everyone ready or are you all going to do the scramble? I am usually good at starting to pack things a week ahead but this time.....not so ready! LOL! Well it is only 9 days so I have some time. I am also trying to get things ready for school so that will be done when we get back. And make sure my grandmother, who I care for, is also stocked and taken care of. Just a lot to do. I just have a few odds and end things to buy, which I hope to do between tonight and Sunday. Paperwork, reservations, etc are printed and ready. Just watching that clock......

I too, have been in vacation mode/back to school prep. One minute I'm in Staples buying crayons and notebooks. The next minute I'm in Payless buying HS Musical Flip Flops for my girls to use poolside. I have been updating this speadsheet I got from Tourguide mike's website. I am strategizing my day based on my ADRs (got 'em all nailed already ). I am hoping to catch more parades this trip. We often spend so much time in the park in the day...that we are too pooped to return for any parade.

I still can't find those hand held fans..I've looked everywhere. I'll probably try to find them during my stay (nut not in the World). Maybe they'll have them at the local Walmart or Target down in Orlando.

Other than that...all systems are go!!!!

We're flying SW out of Philly on the 24th. Every time I fly out of AC on Spirit, my plane is delayed. I must jinx those Spirit flights!

I checked Target and they were sold out. Unfortunately I do not live near a Walmart. Hoping there is one near the World. I went to the Disney Store in NYC and did not see the fans there. I am really interested in buying a generic brand...so I can save a couple dollars.

Yes get the fans before you hit the World. They are about $17 a pop. Still have mine. Hopefully it still works. Have to check the batteries.

The small one was only $2.99 on special and the one that holds more water was $10.99. We bought 1 of the large and 3 small ones. AND a TON of AA batteries!!!

Thanks for the info.! I was able to find an auction on Ebay for three large misting fans (with straps) for $18.35 total. One of them is lime green!

To do: Pack! Pack! Pack! I can not believe we only have 4 more days until we leave! I was watching the Weather Channel and it says scattered showers everyday so far next week....is this the normal afternoon showers/downpour? I just hope we have some time without rain! Oh well, at least we will be in WDW! It has been raining here (WI) for the past 5 days and the rest of the week says rain, rain, rain! When they say rain around here it is all day! Our dock on the lake is actually under water now due to all the flooding....I am thinking about building an ark

Are you one of the Jersey people too cause they say rain all week here too! I don't have a lake in my backyard but we have flooding all over the place. Nasty! Cool too. Feels like an early fall. I sure hope I don't leave rainy for rainy!
