Are you allowed to order out?

If staying at a WDW resort is it ok to order food (to be delivered) from a restaurant/takeaway outside WDW? Or is that frowned upon? If it's allowed, any good recommendations for places with good pizza, fries, desserts?

Yes, you are allowed to order from outside. BUT, anything is a pretty fair distance from the resorts. If you are at a deluxe the person can't just stop in front of the building and leave the car. If at a MK area hotel there is the matter of having to gp through the toll plaza. I'm not sure what you would consider "good" pizza and don't know anyplace that has "good" fries. I can recommend a place for wonderful desserts, but it is over near Universal and they don't deliver.

We just got back from a stay at WL and ordered Domino's Pizza one night. It only took about 25 minutes and the driver met us in the lobby.

Anyone ever have Chinese food delivered to your resort? I love Chinese food and think it would be ideal as I could eat the leftovers for a couple of meals/snacks.

Here's a link to thread where someone listed some pizza places that deliver to WDW Resorts. I haven't tried any of them yet, but printed the list for future trips.
