Thanks for the great tip LanaJae! I too have been a long time T-Mobile customer(9+ years). We have the MyFaves Family plan(2 lines). And I think their customer service is top notch. Anytime I have had a question or a problem it is handled efficiently and courteously. The only time we have had problems with service is when we visit my Mom in Kentucky. We have to trek to the top of the mountain to get service. I might call them to see if they can put a tower up because most of my family has TMobile. It gets to be a pain sometimes when when my brothers and I visit.

Oh, and thanks for the tips on the iPhone. I would love one but am not willing to got to AT&T to get it.

That's great to hear Kycha! I think the people who don't like T-Mobile probably live in an area where another provider has better coverage.

My son is with AmeriCorp all summer and working in the boundary waters area near Canada and there is supposed to be no service for anyone, but Verizon works - he came home saying he wanted us to switch to Verizon lol - a satellite phone didn't even work there.

My daughter's iPhone is glued to her hand so I'm sure you won't regret it if you get one.

It was a no-brainer for me to sign up because of the T-Mobile discount and I saw a 10% Gap Outlet discount, but other than possible hotel discounts and doing the TripTik, I don't know what else I will use it on. I only bought the standard membership for myself and didn't add on my husband/teenager/college kid. My husband and I have free roadside assist on our vehicles so probably will not be using any auto benefits.

Benefits I use:

Some of the best Disney Resort discounts can be found on AAA's hotel reservations site. I've booked great deals there many times.

Free maps and guide books. The maps alone can pay for the membership

Discounts on local attractions, dining and movie tickets. This often has to be done at your local AAA office.

Buy a Disney travel package from AAA and get access to Disney/AAA's Diamond parking at the front of each WDW park.

Lag time on Disney ticket prices. I once bought an annual pass after a price increase at the old price.

10% off dining and merchandise at Universal and more discounts at City Walk.

AAA Plus gives towing up to 100 miles.
