Good Morning Mommies!!
That's really cool that the teachers come to your house. Is it all the teachers or just one? Do they go to everyone's house? Seems like a lot of work!!
DS is 14 weeks now and must be going through a growth spurt or something. He is eating about 48oz of formual a day, most of that between 4pm and 5am. He has started waking up at night again every 3-4 hours and I can't figure it out. He used to sleep from 8pm to about 4am before eating. Today I am trying to feed him more during the day but he's not taking the bottles too well. I think we are going to go down to the pool today, maybe that will tire him out more.
How do you spell tire? Is it the same spelling as the rubber that goes on your car wheel?
As far as temper tantrums, I obviously haven't hit that point yet so we will see what will work at the time! Right now he fights his naps during the day big time and I let him fuss and cry for a few minutes before I go in and pick him up, comfort him and lay him back down with his paci in his mouth and he usually goes right out. Odd because for bedtime he goes right down!! It's the ONLY time he takes a paci. Lately he has been trying to suck his thumb at the same time as sucking a bottle!!
Have a great day!!
Since I don't have any of my own I enjoy seeing what everyone else has gotten caught saying.Sounds like you have everything under control.![]()
I just have to ask...Why is kaboom your best friend? I was reading your tags.Since I don't have any of my own I enjoy seeing what everyone else has gotten caught saying.
I love the Kaboom cleaning gel stuff, not the spray. It cleans ANYTHING especially the textured bottom of bath tubs really well. It leaves the silver of the faucets sparkly too!!!I love the Kaboom cleaning gel stuff, not the spray. It cleans ANYTHING especially the textured bottom of bath tubs really well. I thought you were talking about cereal!!

So I bought some of those swimmer diapers and am thinking about taking DS to the pool this afternoon. I am getting so bored staying home all the time and I CAN'T go to Walmart and spend more money. I don't NEED anything!!
I have Aveeno Baby sunscreen that my ped said would be ok for him. I am going to put his big white floppy hat on him and his swim diaper and bathing suit and a tee-shirt. It's partly cloudy out right now but usually in the next few hours it gets cloudier as storms pop up.
We should be ok if we go for just 15 minutes or so ... right??

Aiden needs some shades. It is so bright here
Even when he is covered in his car seat the sun peeps in.
Rachel - I haven't seen them baby small but maybe a small toddler size would fit!! I thought about it for DS ... it's pretty sunny here too!
The pool was great. We were there for about 5 minutes before he pooped in his diaper so we walked home because I didn't bring an extra one!! We went back a few minutes later and stayed for maybe 20 minutes. He loved it. He was well covered in sunscreen, a tee shirt, shorts and hat. I also kept him in the shaded areas. I think we are going to make this a daily routine as long as it's not raining. I need to get activities to do that don't cost much $$!! This whole SAHM thing is new to me ... I am so used to my income as well!

I'm going to cement my hopefulness with a ticker soon.
So I am thinking about "eventually" starting a little photography business, specializing in children and infants. I just bought a new camera and the quality of the shots is AMAZING. I think/feel I have the eye for great shots and am learning more about the technical side of it.
That's about as far as I got!!![]()
If it's something you are interested in...I say go for it!!![]()

smiley bug, you're so sweet and funny
