If you're using the Classic Zonderover system, than you're right, but I decided to go with the more modern Extolliver system, which allows inputs to be made in chronological order.

Please, I have lists of my lists. In my giant mom book, I have a check off list of my chores for the week, plus the grocery store (organized by aisle) that I can check off through the week for my weekly trip. But I'm a very, very, um, Type A person, so lists are my friends.

I am so glad there are other list-aholics out there. My family and co-workers tease me about my lists. I can just see their eyes rolling when I tell them i found other listers on the dis. We "dis-listers" have to stick together!

List obsession came in handy when we were planning our honeymoon. We just went to our "list of places we want to visit" list, and voila! Our Med cruise helped us check off 4 countries!

Gotta Love excel!

I love excel too! Then you can sort,color code,highlight and subtotal. If the data is right you can even do a pivot table to kinda make a sublist.

Between excel and that website...I believe I am about to hit nirvana.

When I was little, my mom had to do the same thing. If she said "clean your room" I wouldn't know what to do. She had to say "pick up your toys, straighten your desk, make your bed, etc." EVERY TIME.

Oh yes, I suffer from this affliction! I always preform better with a list, even if it's just a mental one.
I believe this condition must be hereditary. I don't remember my dad making lists when I was a kid (I was 10 yrs old when he died so I probably just wasn't paying attention to things like that yet) but I was going through a packet of his stuff a few years ago and guess what I found?
Several lists! It was obvious to me from the nature of the lists that dad wrote lists often.
One of them was where he ate dinner every weekend in the year before he died. Knowing my dad, I'm guessing he was trying to make sure he was balancing his time well and spending enough time with his family and with all his various interests.
I will confess that I get half the housework done if I don't have a list. I get distracted and work on other stuff/projects. But if I have a list I am dedicated to marking stuff off the list, therefore I cannot deviate from it, LOL!
Saves me money at the grocery store too because if an item isn't on the list I have a real aversion to buying it

I make lists of everything. But usually, before the list is finished, I have lost it already. And even if I don't loose it, I don't use it either (for example a To Do list)
