I really have never been a dipper. I don't like to sog up my food, I guess.

I am the same as you, Kitty. Soggy food, to me, is not appealing at all. DH is a dipper though.

Yep, big fan of dips. Chicken nuggets and fries in sauce, chips and dip/salsa, pretzels with cheese sauce, etc.

Fries once in awhile in ketchup, veggies in dip, chips in dip or salsa, depending on the chip. As a kid, all the time, cookies in milk. Sometimes put them in the glass, smash them, all up and eat with a spoon.

Me too !! Part of my dipping experience stems from my Italian heritage. As a kid, I dipped my biscotti in milk, while the adults in my family dipped theirs in either coffee or grappa (very popular thing to do in Italy, even in restaurants). Another tradition my family had was to dip a slice of crusty bread in the spaghetti sauce just as it was finished cooking. Still do it to this day.

I still dip biscotti and plain donuts in coffee. Oh and I dip Oreos and Girl Scout Thin Mints in milk.

How about tarelli, Linda? Do you have those? Dunk them? Marie's mom made them, and I love to dunk them. Some with raisins . My daughter makes them now.

As a kid I recall dipping a lot, but sometimes it was weird mixtures.

Dare I ask...do any of you dip pizza in ranch dressing? I had never heard of it until I saw it on TV maybe 2 years ago. It blew my mind!

Well, I did order a french dip sandwich last night at the restaurant my wife and I went to.

Oreo cookies are the only cookie I dip in milk. It can be either or, dip in milk, or you twist them apart, eat the blank cookie, then combine the cookie/creme with the 2nd Oreo cookie/creme after eating the blank.

Chili or a tomato based soup with Italian bread, dip/scoop the bread in the soup. No dipping in a broth like soup like chicken noodle or wedding soup.

Breaded fried shrimp, dipped in cocktail sauce.

Those are the only 3 things I can think of that I dip.
