Are you a button Mom?

You know, the kind of Mom who wears a button with her kid's picture on it. Usually dressed in some type of athletic attire.
I am a button Mom, but not all the time. I don't take the buttons off one coat and put them on another coat every time I change outerwear.
How about everybody else?

I would never wear a picture of my children be it on a button, sweatshirt or tote bag. I've seen these things but I've never actually seen anyone wearing them.

I wear a button with my son's pic only when I wear my "Team Mom" shirt at his baseball games. The buttons came in the photo packet we ordered. My Mom wears one to the games as well.

no, but i guess if my DD were involved in an athletic comp or something similar - I would wear one of support to that event....I do have a piece of jewelry - a bar pin - that says "B______'s mom" that I wear occasionally - does that count???

Only at the event- when said child was a little younger- would not be allowed to be a button mom now... By the way I never have heard the expression button mom - I'll have to pass that one around...

I didn't answer because even though I don't wear them, I don't dislike moms who do. It'd take a lot more than THAT for me to dislike someone.

DD received a few over the years--I have a bulletin board that I've put them on. She's 16 now, she'd have a fit if I wore any of them in public. Thanks for the idea, Magickndm!

I have copies of my nephews "sports cards" in my wallet, does that count?
We still have my softball buttons and coffee mugs (Dad had to have one, but never wanted to drink from them ) Of course, one set also depicts me covered in chicken pox.

I have the buttons of both kids, they are here on my cork board at work. I do not wear them and never have, not sure why, just don't.

However during football season I have and wear my DS's jersey for all games, my nails have teal colored tips (school colors) complete with a "Panther" paw on my ring fingers both hands.

I own and wear both the elementary school apparel where DD attends and the high school apparel where DS attends.

Since I am active in Boosters there really is not a piece of merchandise or apparel we do not own and wear regularly.

During baseball season we always have team shirts for each kid's team and wear it depending on who is playing that day.

Last year was a tough one when my die hard Red Sox fans had to go to DD's baseball games and wear their Yankee team shirts. DH and DS were very relieved when the season was over, I think they had a ceremony and burned the shirts

Just no buttons.......

No, I'm not a button Mom. I guess I'm a jewelry Mom. I have a gold heart pendant necklace with my kids picture engraved on it. (I get so many compliments on it) Then I have an Italian Charm bracelet that has there pictures on it, along with a bunch of charms all about them.
