Since they have announced free dining for the end of August and completely skipped over the month of June for any discounts?

In May of last year there were discounts available for dates in June, but it was only for AP Holders/FL Residents and good at OKW or SSR.

It would have to get pretty bad economically I think for Disney to offer public discounts in June. You are competing with school graduates and I think June is still the most popular wedding month, as well; so, there will be honeymooners. June is cooler than the other summer months; so, it's probably the hardest month to get a deal.

With that said, if you are willing to get AAA, you would be eligible for their discount. If you have AAA, then just use it and get the discount from them.

In 03 and 04 we got great discounts for the month of June; we paid $89 and then $94 per night at CBR! But it seems those days are over. We went back in 06 and the best we could get was a AAA 15% discount.
This year we are staying offsite for that very reason...

I agree, there will be some discounts for June/July, but mostly likely AP and/or FL rates. Last year they were announced mid-May and only for a couple of DVC locations. July saw a couple of moderate locations added in too. Nothing for values for the last couple of years. Not much in the way of general public discounts. June and July are very popular, hence, the new higher summer season rates.
