I'm glad you had a nice day before the heavens opened up. I can't believe that they put you in the dark room. Your goblet looks very nice!

When you said that you got in a Trader Sams, I was confused because there is usually a long wait to get in. But that you sat outside makes sense, from what I hear there is ample seating outside. Nice mug!

Why would they pack up early? That's terrible! They need to keep open until everyone has a chance to come by and get some last minute nibbles or like you wanted a hot beverage!

Thank you! Florida weather always pack a poncho. Actually we decided with the wheelchair we needed more than 2 ponchos I expect you find that with the scooters.

Next time we hope to get inside the real Trader Sams!

Those Sugar Aloof were bone lazy. I hope they got a Goofy size boot up them. People desperate for jobs and they can't be bothered.

Despite the rain what a lovely birthday evening I have yet to eat in the dark room, I think it looks cool. Glad you had an enjoyable meal

I can't believe they closed up Sugarloaf early. People count on getting there at the last minute, can you imagine having paid for that and it was closed?

I think the Poly mug is my favorite so far, very very cute.

Actually the dark room is really enchanting with the rose. I am sorry I turned up my nose now!

I know re paying for that Club imagine! I would demand my money back!

Thanks I love the Tiki mug also no items like that in the UK as we are not influenced by the Polynesian culture.

That goblet from BOG is adorable! I haven't eaten there yet (most of my trips are 1-2 days on a weekend, bringing in food thanks to frugal BF), but I want to go next year for my birthday I love Christmas decorations, so I'm totally game to see the photos!

BOG is perfect for a birthday as you can see! I hope you do manage to get a reservation.

The Lego city advent calender looks impressive.Is it full of chocolate mini figures.The club level staff at grand floridian strikes again two nil to them. just as well it was an upgrade from your villas Bet if it happens again you won't do it again. The upgrade I mean.Doesn't make a person want to stay there.I was not impressed by the grey stuff myself when I tried it. It didn't live up to the hipe it got but it could just be my taste.

Thank you for reading. Yes under each window for everyday in December there is a present. Jo has a beauty one so she has had hand cream, face cream etc. The jelly belly has a small bag of Christmas thrmed beans. Lego has a little figure you have to build. The Harrods tea each day a tea bag of a different type. Today was Christmad pudding a tea infused with cinamon and vanilla spices.

Thank you. No the lego is full of actual lego figures. Very cool. I get one every year. Last year I got the Star zwars lego one.

Your home decorations are very pretty!

We are now spending the winter in a one-room flat so we don't have lots of room for decoration, but I just picked this up:

It has a music box for the base and turns. It was a little pricey, but DH decided the cookies inside would make it worthwhile!

We gave the hosts our tips and Ashley confirmed he had put a placeholder for us on another conceirge cruise. This is going to be for Jo's 50th in 2018.

That will be a nice treat for her birthday.

It was sad this went missing with the luggage someplace. It was really nice.

What a shame. Have you tried to contact DCL? They may be able to send you another one.

We had 1 scoop of cookie dough, 1 mint choc chip ear marked for my good lady wife and 1 of the non cream chocolate and vanilla for me. Whipped cream ( not on my scoop ) , gummy bears, marshmallows, rainbow sprinkles, m & m's, skittles.

This looks amazing.

When we returned to the stateroom this lovely birthday celebration was waiting for me....

I love the birthday towel creation.

Oh yes the vision in that eye is much improved and one thing I did not realise was that the colours had become so dull. Now I feel like a person who just got their first colour TV thank you for asking,

Our room was not ready as we expected being early but the CM wanted to show us the new coffee machine they had in the reception area for the guests.

That is a really nice touch.

At some point Jo was told there was an issue with our room.

Oh no.

Anyway sure enough the birthday flood curse occurred once more.

What a pain that there was a flood in the room on two trips.

They upgraded us to a deluxe room and access to club in sugar loaf.

This sounds fair.

But when we arrived at the door the Magic Bands went red

I hate when this happens.

It was a nice room....

The room is beautiful.

There was a CM on a podium but she did not look up to say hello. Most strange we thought. At AK they were all over you like a rash. The cruise as well. Two more CMs at a desk. Again one glanced up. Then looked away. We were shocked.

What a shame about the grumpy cast members.

Oh my to top it all we seem to be next to the laundry we could hardky hear the TV!

One would think that for the money they charge, they could soundproof the rooms. We were next to the laundry at Vero Beach and did not hear a thing.

We woke excited at The Grand. We wanted to get into MK asap to get some of the official 45th birthday anniversary merchandise.

I hope the selection was better on the actual day. I was so disappointed in the offerings. I ended up not getting anything at all.

I love the t-shirt.

Our next trip is not until Fall 2017 but we are doing our first Royal Caribbean cruise in August if that would be of interest to anyone. France and Spain from England.

I am definitely interested, especially considering that we recently made friends with the Navigator of the Seas. She is a stunning ship.

How cute the new MB 45th Anniversary editions make a cute tune and light up Mickey in different colours!

Jo asked me to wait and came back beaming. They had a little car in the middle disabled people could sit in. What! I never knew this. Despite a long line there was nobody waiting for the disabled carriage so they let us on. Weee watch the horses go up and down, round we go! I was like a Cheshire cat...

I got my mug but we thought Traders Sam's was a bit odd. Not at all what I expected. Later I learnt there is an inside part to it. We had just found the terrace.

We had the same experience. I only found out about the inside after the trip.

t was 9:46 when we entered. They close at 10:00 pm. They had packed everything away! Not a crumb. Stoney faces greeted us. We are closed.

This just gets weirder and weirder.

Well, I'm super happy that the BOG dinner was nice for you, but kinda sad that 1. you didn't see the inside of Trader Sam's. It's a fun place! 2) There was so much rain. 3) Things were closed up when you returned because you REALLY needed a warm drink!

I adore your goblet/mug a lot! I haven't even opened my Tiki yet since my trip. I need to do that!
