I've searched for this but can't find.

If I take DD during the day, then DH takes her after dinner can he use my ticket? We have a CRT dinner planned on the day, trying to fit both in and give DH a chance to see Diagon alley.

buy your husband his own ticket.
the ticket scan won't match up if you let him use your ticket.

why have your ticket confiscated for cheating the system?

Well it's one adult in each time, hardly cheating! He would use my same physical ticket, I won't be there.
I imagine it's not allowed for some reason but I have to ask as I try to work this into our trip.

As noted by macraven above. When you as an adult and your daughter present your tickets, at entry your ticket will be scanned as well as your finger print.

just like at disney.
only the person that bought the ticket and has used it once, is allowed to use it again for re entry to the parks.

you can easily share a soda bought inside the park, but to get into the parks, you each need your own ticket.

to reenforce that position, finger scans have to match.

Oh ok! I shoudp have known there were finger scans. Bummer. :) it's illogical to me but they have to make as much money as possible so I understand. :)

Finger scan and sign your ticket.

The trouble is what you stop you and your daughter from entering the park, you daughter exits with both tickets, give one of them to DH then he enters. Now all 3 of you would be in at the same time with only 2 tickets. That's why every themepark does handstamps or fingerprints and the like for reentry.

Put it this way, could you got to a buffet and eat. Then leave and give the receipt to another person so they can go in and eat, nope.

New situations for new users can often get complicated. The buffet metaphor is a good one, I'll remember that. Also, that ticket is only good for the first user throughout the life of that ticket.

It is like people who bought a 10-day 1-park per day Disney ticket not understanding why they can't use 2 of the days on the same day if they go to different parks. This question is asked millions of times (or so it seems).
