Are they still serving those yucky buns at Casey's?

Yucky wheat things. I loved the old models, soft squishy with just a hint of sweetness.

I hate the dry tastless things they have now so I stopped going.

Are they still there?

Yes they are. Though when we went they tasted pretty much like the old buns - just a little less durable.

Yes, unfortunately, they are still serving those "yucky" buns. We were going to eat there the other day and saw the buns and quickly changed our minds. Wish they would go back to normal buns.

I don't see, um I mean taste, what's so bad about them. Sure, I liked the old "white" buns better, but the new "wheat" style buns are not that bad. :upsidedow

DUnno, I had a dog about a month ago, and it tasted like a hot dog, guess maybe I never had the 'old' buns. :confused3

I don't get it either.:confused3 I went there in Sept thinking they would be like cardboard...they were not as squishy as the white buns, but they tasted perfectly good.

They do have the new buns but after you add the cheese sauce, relish, and kraut, you don't tase the buns much and the dog is still yummy!

Us too...after hearing reports about how awful the "new" buns were we were expecting them to be almost inedible. We found them to be fine and tasty (and I'm picky about my buns. is it just me or does that just not sound right? :rotfl: ) They were maybe a little less squishy LOL but quite appropriate for holding the dog.
