looking to do some report hopping at resorts I've never been to on a non park day, But I also want to make the most of my time.

I've never been to

Port Orleans
Yacht club
Old key west

Are these worth checking out? What's there to see/do?

Thanks!

Port Orleans can be fun. they have a horse drawn carriage ride, Yee Haa Bob at POR on some nights for musical entertainment, beignets at POFQ and a boat ride to Disney Springs. the stroll around and between the two resorts can be nice as well.

We stay at POFQ and agree with the PP. We have gone to YC for lunch at Capt. Grille, drinks at Crew's Cup lounge or dinner at YSH. You can walk thru YC/BC and checkout the Boardwalk area.
Other than stopping at OKW on ME never been there. I have read good reviews of the restaurant, Olivia's , but don't know if there is anything else except for a boat to DS.

Yacht Club is well worth a visit, if for no other reason than the Beach Club, the Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin are all so close by (it's no more than a 15 minute walk around the entire lagoon where those resorts are all located). As a result, you can easily check out all five resorts in one visit.

It's according to why you are resort hopping. Are you checking out resorts for future visits or just want to experience another resort? If checking them out, every resort on property is worth hopping to. Otherwise, POR and YC are both great resorts to visit, like previous poster said, you get a lot of bang for your buck with visiting YC since you can hit 5 resorts and 2 parks all in walking distance. OKW is a beautiful resort, sidewalks and trees and grass but the gift shop public area isn't large. It's certainly worth a drive through if you have a car but I wouldn't just visit it for the sake of visiting unless you were thinking of staying there in the future.

There are a few things to do if you go to the YC, depending on the time of day, although none of them are at the YC. ;) You can walk over to the villas building at the Beach Club where they have a billiard table in the Drawing Room, right off the lobby. It is a pleasant way to kill some time while cooling off in the air conditioning. You can walk over to the Swan and Dolphin and play miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens. There is a sidewalk leading from the resort to the miniature golf course. If you are there in the evening then you can enjoy the entertainment on the Boardwalk. They have a juggler and a magician to entertain the crowds.

Port Orleans is a nice resort to check out. Twice we have been there when they were having visits from characters. The first time they had at least five characters including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy, greeting guests near the boat dock. The second time we saw Cinderella and Tiana greeting guests in the lobby. You can walk to Port Orleans French Quarter and get some beignets. Then you can ride the boat to Disney Springs. You can also ride a boat from Disney Springs to Old Key West. There isn't a lot to do there but they do have shuffle board and maybe table tennis by the main pool.

Some people really enjoy Old Key West for Olivias. Supposed to be good dining.

We have visited all three, and like the fact that you can do so by boat. (Although they are separate boats). For the Port Orleans resorts and OKW you can get boats from DS and tie some resort exploration in with some shopping time. YC is nice to hop to from a Friendship boat between Epcot and DHS, and as others mentioned you can see all the Epcot area resorts with very little walking. Bring resort mugs if you have them and get a soft drink refill...
