I'd love to hear opinions on these places, especially the Boardwalk restaraunts, Spoodles & The Flying Fish Cafe (is is really like Legal Seafood?!!)

Here's our dining choices thusfar:
California Grill (dinner)
Le Cellier (lunch)
Biergarten (dinner)
Brown Derby (lunch)
Spoodles (dinner)
Grand Floridian Cafe (breakfast) - do they really have lobster eggs benedict?
Kona Cafe (dinner)
Boma (breakfast)
Hoopty Doo Review
Rose & Crown Pub (lunch)
Flying Fish Cafe (dinner) - I'd love to know more about this place, see pics?
Chef Mickey's (breakfast) - I successfully made reservations already! :cool1:
Narcoosse's (dinner)

If time/stomach allows for a quick late night bite - would love to try Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang's Cafe for pizza

Yeah - We are Legal Sea Food fans and Flying Fish has a very similar atmosphere and fresh seafood. No lobster DH reminds me, but I always enjoy it. I thinkyou made good choices - like Kona, too. I forget the others on your list, but I didn't see anything that that we have not enjoyed. Last time we were at GF for breakfast was '93 on our honeymoon and I don't remember that far back ha ha!

Good Choices!

We had dinner at California Grill in November and enjoyed it very much. We still liked Citricos at the Grand Floridian better, but there wasn't anything bad about California Grill.

Haven't had lunch at Le Cellier, but we enjoyed dinner there.

Biergarten used to be one of our favorites, but the past few times we were there the buffet didn't live up to our expectations. The entertainment is always great there.

Lunch at Brown Derby......that was the absolute best meal I had on the trip with my son last May. Seared Ahi Tuna.....pure heaven!

This past November we also had dinner at Spoodles. Excellent Choice.

Did Hoop Dee Doo Revue a year ago and really liked it. We were sitting in just the right spot that DH got picked on by the performers! It was hysterical and I managed to get some of it on video as well as a few still pictures.

We've eaten at Boma, but not for breakfast. We love the dinner buffet. It was the one place our kids insisted on going last trip. Also never been to Chef Mickey's for breakfast. We aren't big breakfast eaters.

Narcoossee's for dinner is a special treat, especially if you are there when the fireworks go off at Magic Kingdom.

It's been years since we're gone to Flying Fish, Kona Cafe, or Rose and Crown, so I don't have a current opinion on them. When we last did Flying Fish, we thought it was good. Our last encounter at Rose and Crown was OK, nothing special, but edible. Can't really remember Kona Cafe much, but don't remember it being bad.

I hope you enjoy all these wonderful dining locations! ::MinnieMo

Narcoosse's (dinner) never done

If time/stomach allows for a quick late night bite - would love to try Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang's Cafe for pizza

I think you have some terrific places

you have some great places picked. The only two i would drop are Hoopty Doo because i can't stand that kind of atmosphere and Biergarten (similar type but German atmosphere!)

I can only comment on Biergarten - we loved it!

Your other choices are things we'd like to try on future trips!

Great list, have fun and eat well!

Thanks for making me laugh: Hoopty = crappy car on its last leg

Hoop Dee Doo Review, but the images of a Disney Hoopty meal that ran through my mind were hysterical...lol! :lmao: thank you, thank you!

OMG! You're right!! That's probably why I spell it like that! HOW FUNNY!!:rotfl2:

The only 2 places on your list that we ate at on our most recent, Oct. trip were Hollywood Brown Derby & Flying Fish. We all thought HBD was much better than FF. Everything was outstanding! Although, we have had great meals at FF in the past. I'm hoping it was an off night. I would consider the atmosphere a tie. Both are very loud. We'll be returning to HBD on our May trip. As for FF, we'll return again someday, but probably not soon. We've eaten at a few others on your list, but it hasn't been recent enough to offer an opinion. Things change so quickly it's hard to keep up. You have some great choices. I'm sure you'll eat well! :teeth:

I've only done Le Cellier and Spoodles before from your list (four years ago on our last trip). We loved both restaurants.

Outstanding choices!! We've had California Grill, Narcoossee's, Le Cellier, and Kona. I can tell you that we intend to go back to ALL four of these restaurants on our next trip in May.

We'll also be trying Flying Fish, Chef Mickey's, etc.
