I remeber seeing on an old disney video they used to have statues that people would stand in front of and take picture then the next thing you know the statue moved. Is that still at WDW??? :mickeybar

I don't remember seeing them my last trip (October 2005), I heard they are no longer around.

I believe they moved from France to Italy. So their name changed but last time we were there they were as well.

Somehow we have missed these on multiple trips. I made them on my "must see" list, but another member informed me that they are gone. Apparantely their contract was not re-newed and they can now be found in Busch Gardens in Tampa. :guilty:

I forgot about the statue lady that used to be by Paris in the WS! I loved that. I haven't seen them in 2005. That is too bad they aren't there any more. Thanks for the update.

hmmmm...Maybe I'm wrong. I just don't remember seeing them in October. I thought they were pretty cool in a previous trip.

We saw one down by Italy in 2004. There was much discussion because they were not showing up and it was raining.

Then one lady came out and did her thing until a small child climbed up on her pedestal to get his cap back and fell very hard onto the concrete. She went in shortly afterward. I always wondered if that might have had anything to do with their disappearance AND how the little boy was.

Slightly Goofy

I believe they're now appearing at Busch Gardens in Tampa.

They have not been at WDW in almost a year. Their contract was not renewed.

They were fun.
