Are there still lockers in the Magic Kingdom?

We arrive this Monday & Tuesday. The weather is a high of 69 on Monday, high of 73 on Tuesday. The low for both days is 51. So I'm thinking jeans and sweatshirt weather? I can tie the jacket around my waist. But if they still have lockers, I'd love to leave it in a locker. What do you think? Thanks for any help! I'm all packed & ready to go!

Yes, we do this exact thing, put sweatshirts/jackets in lockers
Every park has them, some even have luggage lockers outside the park

The Magic Kingdom lockers used to be under the stairs as you entered the MK, kind of felt like a tunnel. Is that where the lockers still are? My husband thought all the lockers were gone from there.

They are inside the turnstiles, to the right as you are looking towards the park, before you enter the tunnels under the train station
I guess it could look like a tunnel but it's just an open room full of lockers

The lockers are no longer "in the tunnel" I believe that is stroller rental now. The lockers will be before the tunnel on the right after you enter the turnstiles and look towards main street but have not yet entered under the train tracks. You buy your key from the shop right there. You'll see the rental wheelchairs and ECVs as well.

Yep - note you get a locker key in the shop - not at the stand labeled for wheelchair/ECV rentals - so don't stand in the wrong line.

$12 to rent - you get $5 back at the end of the day if you return the key.

I really, really wish Disney would spend the money to upgrade there lockers to digital lock ones that you can pay for at the locker/auto machines! I waited like 10 minutes one night to return my locker key at HS and get my $5 back.

Totally agree on the upgrade. Or if all the parks do what the water parks do. If you don't want to wait to get your $5 back you can turn in your key and get a souvenir cup instead of your $5. We took the cup and I still use it for coffee at home. It has a fake leather wrap around the outside with the Typhoon Lagoon Logo stamped on it.

Angi, I recall your recommendation for luggage lockers at Epcot. Do they have lockers big enough to hold a full size suitcase at Magic Kingdom? Thanks!

The luggage lockers at MK area are/were near the MK parking lot at TTC, as you head to the TTC bus loading area.

I do not know if they are still there, but I don't know why they'd have removed them.
These kind of lockers are generally one-time-open-per-payment (no multiple access without having to pay the full fee) and exact-change needed.

Good to know. We never go through TTC so I had no idea they still had the big lockers there too. Good to know for future reference, though really we like to end our trips at Epcot for a beer with Carl at Rose and Crown. He and DH have become buds

I found an old reference to luggage size, coin operated lockers at TTC on touringplans.com but it is dated 2012 :( I'd love to verify that the lockers are there before making MK our last stop before heading to the airport.

Do you have any other times you can stop at the TTC during the trip, prior to your last day, where you could check for them? That's the one place we never go
Or maybe email Len on TP and ask if he's checked on them more recently? He's usually really quick to respond to emails

I wasn't planning on going through the TTC, but may have to. Good idea about contacting TP though :)
