Hi, I signed my 2 teenage boys for the Animation Magic program at MGM this January. Sounds like a fun program, and it's an amazing deal for tickets. My question is whether there are separate tickets for entering the parks and for the program itself? It says on the confirmation page that tickets can be picked up at any of the parks (which I'm assuming are park tickets), but then I read "please remember every participant must have an event admission ticket to participate". Kind of makes it seem like it's a separate thing. Can anyone who's done the program clarify this for me? Thank you!:goodvibes

No-unless it's changed since January.

You'll need your park admission ticket to get into the park. There is no ticket for the actual class. . . . at least there wasn't when we did ours in June. We met outside of Animal Kingdom before park opening, checked in with a cast member who then separated us into smaller groups. The small groups then proceeded with their leaders to the turnstiles - this is of course where you'll need your park admission ticket. I was surprised that we pretty much got in line with everybody else who was waiting for the park to open - no special entrance rules for us!

Have fun!

Thanks for your replies! I looked through previous YES threads (really long...), but couldn't find an answer to my question. It sure seems like a great program---you're basically having your ticket prices discounted for doing something fun. I can't believe the spaces in the classes don't get snapped up instantaneously!

My dd14 just did the Hollywood Studio's Yes Program on 10/21. We purchased the 5 day hoppers using the Yes discount.

On the morning of the class we arrived and meet at the flagpole (which was the designated meeting area). I checked her in and left. It was necessary that she use her park ticket for admission to Hollywood Studios.

And normally the slots for the class fill up very quickly. I was quiet surprised to see avaibility in my dd's class up until about 3 weeks before the class (then I stopped looking)
