Are there places in the 3D shows that DON't get water spray

We will be traveling to the world in June. My Aspie DS absolutely hates to get wet. On our last trip, he refused to do any of the 3D shows after he did the first one because of the tiny bit of spray. I know about wearing ponchos, I know about covering the nozzles on both sides and in front, but there is still a tiny bit of water that he hates. Is there any seating available that does not have access to that "feature" of the show? If such a place exists, would he need a GAC to access that space?

I would say no.
Because our DD uses a wheelchair, we are in the back row for those shows. You do get some spray even in the back row (they want to make sure that all guests have opportunity for as many special effects as possible).

I ahve done an ECV as shgows at SeaWorld, DLR, and WDW. I agree with Sue. In the wheelchair area you do not get the thrill of bugs goosing you at Bug's Life for example but you still get the scents and stuff.

You could watch a video to see when the spray happens. Put the kid in a poncho and that would leave his face and hands to get wet. Talk to a CM to se if there are options like a seat that has a broken nozzle. It would be weird but you could set in the back row and pop up an umbrella to shield you from the mist. Usually the people around here are creative.

Good luck and hugs and chocolates

I do not remember any water in the Muppets show if he likes 3D like my DS9. Did I miss something?

The only water I remember is Fozzie Bear's flower. It sprays water out on the audience.
That one would be pretty easy to prepare for though. You see his flower way before it sprays anything and you can see him holding on the button that triggers the spray.

There are benches along the back wall of Muppets 3D, I don't think you feel the water there.

I would not absolutely count on it because they are not that far back from the back row. Since it's only when Fozzie sprays the flower, I would be prepared for that.
I do know that the back bench seats in Little Mermaid feel the water spray (a different type since it's coming from above to simulate the ocean).

I just stated that because I have sat on those benches before and don't remember feeling any water, I could be wrong.

My oldest son doesn't particularly like the water or air effects either. I know where most of the water happens so I stick my hand up and block it. :thumbsup2

I may be wrong and the water doesn't spray back there, but I would just prepare that it is possible it might go all the way back there.
Also, this isn't water spray, but in Miss Piggy's big number Bean Bunny blows some bubbles.

Thank you for the suggestions. We're going to keep working on it. I kind of feel like I'm torturing him so that he can have fun. But if anyone can relate, it's the other moms on this board.

Thank you as much for understanding as for ideas!

DD doesn't like the water either. The best method we found is my hoodie backwards or just as a blanket on her. I warn her it is coming and she put the hood up covering her face and I tell when it's over. After we learned this trick Mickeys Phil. became one of her fav.

She know the spots now so I don't even have to tell her to cover up anymore.

Back from DLR and reporting in on Muppets.

We were one of the last ones in the theater and I wanted to sit in a regular seat. Next time we walk into that theater. We had to park down front and to the left of the front row. We did not get splashed and the front row did not seem to have them splash nozzles at all since they have no seat in front of them. The bubbles were in the center so a corner seat might not get wet or bubbles.

So like fer shure what does DLR have to do with wDW? It is just a suggestion thtat might work at WDW. Front row and far left.
