Are there irons in the cabins?

My sister wants me to ask this one! I don't see this answered in the big brochure on the DCL.

No irons in the room and you can't bring one in either. You can either have your room steward take care of pressing your clothes for a fee, or you can bring them to the laundry room and iron them there.

But if you use the irons in the laundry room, I recommend taking a towel with you, and keeping the towel between the iron and your clothes. Not everyone is careful when they use them.

I have taken a travel steamer in the past, and they weren't on the list of things not to bring. It wasn't crisply pressed, but the wrinkles were gone. Downey wrinkle release works well too.

Since no one mentioned why no irons...it's because they would be too dangerous/too much of a fire hazard and fire is a big deal on a ship.
