Are there ever Yacht Club Discounts?

I am dying to stay at the Yacht Club but it is always sooooo expensive. Does anyone know if discounts are ever offered on this hotel w/o being an AP holder or Florida resident?

When I called earlier there were rooms at YC, the rate I was quoted for OCT 16 was 255 standard.

That was with the BAT discount.
